Am I Wrong?

Chapter 17

The next morning I woke up kind of sore. I wasn't as sore as I thought I would be but I was okay.

I rolled over to see Cameron still sound asleep. Our flight leaves at 2 and it's 9 right now so I just let him sleep. I hopped in the shower and turned my ihome on low.

The song Shower by Becky G comes on from Pandora so I laugh thinking about the coincidence.

I finish my shower then get dressed into some black high-wasted shorts with a white and black baseball tee and my red converse. I applied some mascara and some lipgloss then put my hair into a side braid.

When I walk out of the shower Cameron is still sleeping so I decide to wake him. Up I walk up to his ear and whisper "babe wake up." he doesn't move so I laugh and scream "Cameron wake up there's a fire!!" he immediately wakes up and sees that there's no fire and I just screamed in his ears. He laughs then pulls me onto his lap. "Last night was amazing babe"

"Yeah it was. I'm not as sore as I thought I would be."

"Good. What time does our flight leave?"

"2 so let's get some breakfast."

"Do you want to walk down to the Cafe across the street?"

"Yeah. Do you want to ask the guys?"

"No let's just go me and you. I'll be ready in 10."

"Okay babe." I say and he kisses me.

When were ready to go and we walk out of the door I hear a little voice and turn around to see Skylynn.

"Where are you guys going?"

"Were going to breakfast would you like to join us?" Cameron says

"Yay! Mommy I'm going with Elena and Cam!" she screams and Nash's mom walks out and says "Oh guys you don't have to take her"

"No it's no problem at all." I say and she hands us some money for Skylynn.

"Okay Sky behave." she says with a laugh.

We walk to the cafe with Skylynn in the middle of Cam and I and were both holding her hands.

When we get inside I order a muffin and Cameron gets a breakfast sandwich. Skylynn gets a glazed donut.

After we eat we walk back to the hotel and see Shawn in the lobby.

"What's up Shawn?" I say

"Oh um I lost my room key so I have to get another one."

"Haha have fun with that." I say as we walk away.

A FEW HOURS LATER

We are going through security right now and I can't wait to go to St. Louis. My best friend from 8th grade lives here so we've been texting and trying to meet up. Her name is Maddie.

When we get on the plane I sit in between Cameron and Mahogany.

I plug in my Beats by Dre headphones into my phone and turn on 5SOS.

I must've dozed off cuz I am awaken by Cameron tapping my shoulder saying "Babe wake up, were here."

We find our luggage and I see a Starbucks and we all go in to get drinks. It is hot here today so I chose a good outfit. I get a Cafe Espresso frapp and a cake pop.

We get to our driver and get taken to the hotel.

It is almost 6 by the time we get back so we just decide to get dinner and hangout. We send the Jacks out to get everyone Subway.

This time I am sharing a room with Mahogany and the boys are split into 2 suites next to us.

The suites are nice they have like 5 beds in each suite and a small kitchen and then a huge flat screen and an amazing bathroom.

When the Jacks get back we all eat in a suite and then start to watch Mean Girls. I hear my phone ringing and it's a call from Tyler. I get up from Cameron's arms and step outside the room.

"Hey what's up?"

"Ummm Scott was in an accident at work today." He said worriedly. My heart dropped and I start to get tears in my eyes.

"What happened?!" I say scared. I hear the door open and close behind me as I pace back and fourth through the hallway.

"He was doing some security stuff for Taylor Swift and he got shot in the chest." He said through sobs.

I start crying and start to say "Where is he now?"

"He's in the ER and their starting surgery soon."

"I'm coming home. I need to be there. I can't lose him he's my dad." I say sobbing.

"Elena you don't have to come home but it's up to you."

"I'm coming. I'll be there by early tomorrow morning. What hospital is he at?"

"Long Beach Memorial Medical Center." he says and I just about lose it. Great just fucking great. That's the hospital I was taken to after the accident.

I am sobbing when I tell Tyler that I love him and I will see him soon.

"Elena I'm going with you." Cameron immediately says.

"Cam you have the show and I will be back for the next show in Chicago."

"No Elena I care about you more than 1 show. I am coming with you so let's get packing and I will have Nash's mom buy our tickets for a red eye flight."

"Thank you so much Babe. I love you." I say still crying but trying to stop. When I get inside I tell everyone what hapepend and everyone said that they will pray for him and that they will be thinking of him every second of the day.

I start to pack up and Nash's mom walks in with our tickets for a 2 AM flight.

"Thank you so much Liz." I say as she pulls me into a tight hug.

"No problem sweetie, it's the least I can do. I will be praying for him. Good Luck."

Getting through security and everything at the airport was kind of a blur because I was so tired and nervous. I prayed a million times saying "Please don't take him God. You already took my parents you can't take him. Please"

On the flight I fell asleep right away and when I wake up and it's about 6 AM, LA time so we rent a rental car and drive straight to the hospital.

When I get to the floor where my family is, everyone is crying. I walk in and everyone pulls everyone into a big family hug.

"He's gonna be okay. The surgery went well." My mom says and I immediately burst into tears of Joy.
