Am I Wrong?

Chapter 31

June 26:
So the past couple of days have been pretty easy besides the fact that a man is still stalking us. We've learned that his name is Jack Stevens. Cameron's body guards have been staying at his place but I've been at home for the past 2 days.
Today is our last day in LA so I think we're going to dinner with both of our families tonight.
I am excited to start the tour again but it was also nice being home.
In San Fransico we have 4 shows plus a meet and greet. We're staying for a week then after that we are heading to Seattle.
I have always dreamed of going to Seattle or moving there. Even though I've never been there, it just seems so beautiful. The rain and the leaves just seem so nice. I love rain but my mom always tells me that I would get sick of it if I moved there.
Right now Cameron is at the gym and me and Hayes are watching "Stalker" which I've become obsessed with.
During the commercial break I get up to make a smoothie for Hayes and I when I hear a loud noise in the living room. I walk over to see what it was but I don't see anyone.
"Hayes?" I say. No answer. "Hayes this isn't funny. Come out"
"Elena? What's wrong?" I hear from sadly familiar voice, behind me.
I turn around and am less than 5 feet from the man who has been lurking around the apartment. Jack Stevens.
"Hayes is safe, don't worry. However you should be worried about yourself." He says while walking closer to me. I was a brown belt at 13 and quit after 5 years of training so I feel kinda safe.
"What the fuck do you want Jack?" I say backing up. I know not to back up into the corner so I back up sidewaysish.
"I just want some money. Then I'll leave you all alone. Promise." He says while eyeing the stairs.
"I'll give you anything you want in the house just please promise not to ever bother us again." I say trying to stay calm so that he doesn't see that I'm scared. Next thing I know I am hit with a fist that feels like metal and I am on the ground. My eyelids begin to feel heavy and I am soon asleep.

AUTHORS NOTE: OOH a cliff hanger. We'll know that school has started and everyone is busy I will obviously be updating less but I will try to update at least 3-4 times a month. I'm meeting Taylor Caniff on Friday!! I hope you all had a Safe Halloween! Anyways I know this is a short chapter but I'm doing a triple update today so I hope you all enjoy!
