Chanyeol: Birthday Present

I wake up to a breath of fresh air. I look to my right to find the window open and the sky a clear light blue. I can see miles into the green hilly distance for miles without much of anything.

I look to my left to my sleeping boyfriend looking cute as anything. His fringe on his forehead is brushed to the side as he sleeps soundly.

I smile at the sight of his tall figure sprawled across the bed. He mumbles something under his breath and I grin even larger to hear his deep voice speaking.

I shuffle under the covers ever so slightly and he instantly wakes up.

"Good morning sweetie! And a huge happy birthday to the most wonderful birthday girl out there!"

"Aw, you're so sweet!" I give him a gigantic smile like he has plastered on his face.

"Anything for you jagi! Now let's get out of bed and do some things together!"

"Like what?" I ask curiously.

"Oh, some certain things planned..." he grins one of his famous toothy grins.

"Park Chanyeol! You better tell me now or else we are SO over!" I stifle a laugh.

He widens his eyes in horror and then I burst out in laughter.

"Well I'm going to surprise my little princess on her birthday, a very special day!"

We exit our bedroom and go to the kitchen where I am forced to sit on the deck while Chanyeol cooks breakfast for the two of us.

I'm out there for 30 minutes and all I hear the whole 30 minutes I hear yells and screams. I'm guessing he keeps on messing up.

He soon calls me in and I see an odd looking, non-edible thing on the table.

"Erm, what exactly is that?" I question slowly.

"A cake of course!" He smiles his derpy smile."

"Jinjja oppa?!"

"Ne!"

I give him a warm smile for his efforts.  Chanyeol then hands me a slice and I test it out. I try not to spit it out so I smile through it all.

"How do you like it _____?"

"Uh...it's great!"

Afterwards we get ready to "do something" as Chanyeol vaguely described what is coming up next.

We end up driving to a mountain where my boyfriend explains he happened to come across a lovely place one day when hiking.

Chanyeol chases me up the path where you can hear my shrieks for miles and miles in this dense forest.

Towards the end he grabs my hand and leads me to a nice looking creek bubbling with clear waters. We jump across rocks to get to the other side.

We end up walking for a couple of minutes before we end up at a cute little open area full of grass and flowers.

I gasp at the beauty of the field. Nature can surprise someone at random moments.

Butterflies, birds, and bees fly around the tall green and yellow grasses. Chanyeol gives me a backhug and I feel him smiling without looking at him.

"Let's lay down for awhile and stare at the beautiful blue sky while the wind rustles our hair," he suggest.

"Sounds lovely," I smile.

We lay down for a bit holding hands. I don't ever want to leave this position and place.
