Hermione's POV

After leaving Bella downstairs, I go up to my room, planning on writing a letter to Ron before I sleep. Harry said he'd send Hedwig with a few things before he and Ron went to bed, meaning I could use her.

As I pass Bella's room, the door opens. I spin round, my hand clenched around my wand. I see a boy with bronze hair briefly before the door clicks shut again, leaving me to my thoughts.

"What in the world?" I mutter, opening Bella's door. I look around the room and see that the window was wide open. A cold breeze comes in and I walk over to the window, shut it and then lock it to be sure that my cousin doesn't catch a chill. I then leave the room and go to mine to start the letter for Ron, and sure enough, Hedwig was there with a letter and a large parcel. I hear the tell-tell creek of the stairs and a door opening.

Hedwig hoots at me quietly and nips my finger lightly. Not hard enough to draw blood, but hard enough to draw my attention to her. I grab a few owl treats from the packet sat on my desk and she takes them lightly out off my hand.

I untie the letter and parcel from her leg and she flies up to the top of my wardrobe, placing her head under her wing.

"Don't want to go back out, do you." I laugh quietly to myself and start to open the letter when a light knock sounds on my door and Bella pops her head in. I smile at her. "Bella?"

"Did you - oh." She starts to back out of the room.

"No, Bella. You can come in." She looks at me.

"But your -"

"Oh, for heaven's sake! Come in, will you?" Slowly, Bella comes in and sits on my bed. I grab the letter and parcel and move onto the bed, next to Bella. "Is there something you wanted to ask, Bella?"

"Oh, no. It can wait. What've you got there?" She nods at the parcel.

"I think one of the boys put it in my bag with this letter. I was about to open it when you knocked. Oh! That reminds me," I shoot up and run to the wardrobe where my beaded bag was sat. Making sure that Bella couldn't see, I delve into it, searching for a large box. After around a minute of searching, I find what I was looking for and pull it out. I turn around and face Bella again, the box sat on my palms. "I have a little something for you!"

"Little?" Bella half laughs, half groans.

"Erm, yeah? No. Trust me, Bella! You'll love it." I say, looking at the box. I sit back down and Bella takes the box. She opens it and gasps.

"Mi! How did you -? It's gorgeous!" She pulls out a sunset orange silk dress. "Tha-"

"Don't thank me yet. There's more." Bella stares at me as if I'm crazy and then looks back at the box and pulls out a white dress with purple butterflies on. As she opens her mouth again, I shake my head and she delves back in the box, pulling out more clothes, some books and a statue of Hogwarts.

Although the shopkeeper couldn't understand why I wanted a still model of my school, he had taken a really nice one off of the shelf and removed the spells that made it all move, though the black lake still shimmered magically.

"Is this ..." I nod at her. "Wow. You realise, Forks high school is nothing compared to that?" I nod at her again. "And this is for me?" Again I nod, receiving a huge hug. "But, why?"

"Because I can. Now help me with this." I point at the parcel but Bella shakes her head. "I've got nothing to hide. Now help me open it!" Grudgingly, Bella helps me open the parcel and a sleeve falls out of it. "Mrs Weasley. I should've guessed." I whisper.
