Ella's POV
Dear Tristan,
I just wanted to be alone today. It was my parents death day.
I know it's been years but after seeing what I saw, it's hard to live
You tried to sit with me at lunch, Jenna saw and I got up and left before anything happened. She just smirked because she knew I was afraid of her.
I don't understand why you date such a horrid person. You're so much better than her
Not that I have a crush on you or anything..
I tried to hold everything in, but I couldn't and I began to sob during maths.
I think you noticed.
After school, you offered to drop me off. I refused your offer as I didn't want to be a burden on you.
You wouldn't take my rejection and you grabbed my waist. I started kicking and thrashing around screeching to put me down. You buckled me up and at that point, I felt too weak to fight.
I just stared outside the window as the green lush zoomed by, awaiting our destination.
We arrived at this glorious mansion and you stopped. I was awestruck. People could have homes like this? You opened the door for me. Who said chivalry was dead? You helped me out.
You told me that this was your home and attempted to hand me a key.
You explained that I could come over whenever I needed.
I refused.
Why?
I didn't want to burden you and remind you I was still terrified of you..
