Ella's POV
Dear Tristan,
I've been having a bad couple of days
I had my head down and my hood up most of the time, but today I had forgotten my sweatshirt at home
I put my head in my hands during lunch hoping no one would notice me and I could get through the day without a word
That wasn't the case
You came to me and you sat down
Why... what happened to the mean boy who would scowl and intimidate every single person he would meet.
I knew it was too good to be true when Jenna came and shoved me out of my seat
I landed on my wrists and tears began to well in my eyes from the sore pain of my cuts
I started to get up to leave. I didn't think you wanted me there when you had Jenna. But again I was proven wrong
You grabbed my wrist and dragged me outside. Pain swelling through my entire body
I began to cry
I was cold
I was broken
I was afraid
You noticed
You gave me your leather jacket. You never let anyone wear it. Not even Jenna..
You pulled me into a tight hug.
I just cried.
My hands lay on your chest as I take in your natural musk.
I saw Jenna through the corner of my eyes getting angry.
I tried to pull away but you held me tight.
You looked over and mouthed "we're over"
She growled
You looked down at me.
I just rested my head on your chest
It was the type of words that didn't need speaking
You understood me
And I've grown to understand you too, but I could have sworn I saw a flash of sadness when your eyes began to wander
