Ok, it really happened. Bakugou admitted to himself that maybe – just maybe – he liked spending time with Deku, and a bit too much for his taste. What did that tell him? Everything and nothing! He wasn't sure what to think or how to categorize the two of them. Friends with benefits or even rivals with benefits (that sounds so wrong)? Fuck buddies? Being friends at all? It was too hard to understand. But one thing was for sure, and that thing included the possibility of something akin to friendship.
For fuck sake, he was jealous at half'n'half, and that emotionally constipated idiot was the last person he should be jealous at.
Being aware of those facts didn't make him feel better. He was at a loss how to proceed.
"Deku. Training?" He knew the green-haired teen would understand, and confirmed it when Deku glanced at him with interest written all over his face.
Just as Midoriya opened his mouth to answer, someone else cut in.
"Your caveman speech improved, Bakugou. I'm surprised."
Bakugou scowled at dunce-face, though didn't deign to comment.
Midoriya thought Kacchan would blow a fuse when Kaminari interjected, but somehow he didn't. Grateful to whichever gods for Bakugou being less 'explosive', Midoriya pulled up from the sofa he had sat at and quickly answered to the question aimed at him.
"Sure, I need to get changed. Wanna go with me?"
Bakugou jerkily nodded in silence.
Strolling towards the stairway, he thought about Bakugou and whatever they had between them. He jumped a little when he noticed Bakugou walking right beside him, but then just gave him a slight smile.
"Don't take this the wrong way. I'm not in the mood for the electro-idiot and his stupid remarks," Bakugou told him.
Even though the ash blonde said that Midoriya was aware that Bakugou wasn't admitting everything. He looked much too pleased with the fact that Midoriya invited him to join.
His room was always tidy so he didn't need to look hard to find a change of clothes. Bakugou expectantly waited inside, and while Midoriya was used to getting naked in front of him, it still made his heart race. However, that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the red eyes hungrily tracing lines of his back. It was there, the nervousness, but had abated with time, and now, feeling braver than ever, Midoriya decided to give Bakugou a show.
He stretched arms over his head as he pulled the T-shirt, feeling muscles slightly contract. If Bakugou felt anything similar to what he did every time he observed the ash blonde change his clothes, then his idiotic, spur-of-the-moment plan was going as it should.
He was certainly turning into a pervert; he had to admit to himself. Watching Bakugou from the shadows or even from plain sight wasn't something he'd ever expected to occur, but Kacchan looked so entrancing... Shit, he needed to stop thinking like that or he would get hard, and while the sweatpants were baggy, they weren't that baggy. He just wanted to see if Bakugou can get as affected as he would be in case they were in reverse positions.
He tried to get his mind off all of this; usually, it helped, especially when he would catch himself staring at Bakugou. His hormones muddled his brain enough to get pulled into it–
"Why the hell are you standing there for? Hurry up!"
Midoriya might have jumped when Bakugou yelled at him. "Sorry, I was thinking," he quickly mumbled and even though he couldn't see it, he felt the trademark sneer forming on Bakugou's face.
"And what the hell is there to think about? How to pull on the pants? I thought the holes for legs were self-explanatory." A mocking taunt broke the silence.
