Midoriya had been doing homework for an hour or so when Kacchan joined him. Though, it wasn't the only thing he had been doing, for better or worse he had tried to make sense of their relationship. Izuku liked to think their friendship improved, the only problem was that...he wasn't sure what to call it, could it be called dating? Being lovers? Scratching an itch? Ah, it seemed his head would explode if he kept thinking like that.
That was the reason why he still had half of the homework to do, particularly Aizawa's assignment, when Bakugou stomped over to sit beside him, opening a book and a notebook in silence, shooting one of his glares towards everything and nothing, and with angry moves started scribbling in the mentioned notebook.
Okay, that was both expected and unexpected. Why? Because Kacchan had seemed angrier than usual the last time they had spent time together. He expected that Kachan would surely avoid him. What is it this time? Midoriya wondered but decided it wasn't worth stressing over. If Kacchan wanted to tell him, he would. Maybe.
That didn't mean he couldn't poke around a bit.

Bakugou and Midoriya took upon training together, studying together, and sometimes spending time together. It was similar to what they had before the fateful encounter (Bakugou won't call it fucking because he isn't sure if he can stop blood flooding his cheeks). Minus the sex thing. Hell, minus any kind of thing that wasn't within the boundaries of friendship. He wondered if he was so strung up because he was horny.
However, it was...nice.
Bakugou didn't know why he found the nerd's company comfortable. God, it was laughable how he used to avoid the green haired teen, almost like he had been jealous or afraid before their rivalry actually started.
That changed over time and then changed again – first they had become rivals, then fuck buddies (if it could be called that way), and now... are we friends? They sure spent time together like friends.
There was a certain familiarity between them that couldn't get squashed no matter how hard he had tried at some point. And that familiarity was the most probable reason why they interacted so easily.
No matter the situation (the situations regarding friendship thingy, not the fuck-buddies thingy - that one was still unclear), Bakugou knew what to do, which buttons to push and what answers to give. Though, he had to admit it was slightly weird seeing Deku overly confident.
What he found aggravating was the fact that Deku was the same; the nerd read him like an open book, just as easily as Bakugou read Midoriya.
There was one thing he didn't know how to do. Addressing the elephant in the room.
Sometimes he would get angry enough to almost mention their failed attempt at...whatever. Nope, he was not going there and it had nothing to do with his face burning. With. A. Fucking. Blush.
"Kacchan, are you ok?" Midoriya's eyes rose from his textbook when he heard a choked sound coming from Bakugou's direction and was met with a sight of ash blonde either blushing or in pain, he was pretty sure Bakugou doesn't blush while doing homework.
They were doing homework, a particularly normal thing for this time of the day. Did he eat something bad?
"Huh?"
"Your face is red." Midoriya knew Bakugou could be particularly stubborn to admit that something is wrong, always pushing himself to the max.
"Mind your own fucking business. It's nothing!"
