Dante's POV:
I looked towards Raven as she played at my feet, giggling as she ran a little horse doll across the floor and exposed her fangs as she eyed it over. I smirked and crossed my legs as I sat in my throne then purred. I could get used to this... very quickly. "Master Dante, you have a letter," I heard a maid say as she walked up to me with a polished silver tray that held a small white envelope on it. "It was brought by a Russian." I frowned and snatched it from her tray, looking at the back to see Victor's seal on it. What does he want now? I opened it and snatched the letter out, starting to read it's contents before I tensed and dropped the letter.
"Burn it," I muttered and glared towards the maid. "Burn it now with the envelope." He's not getting any help from me to help that bastard. I'm not going to save Richardo. He can kiss my German butt if he thinks I'm going to stick up for Richardo at the council meeting. Richardo is a monster... and Paris is a backstabber. Have I received a letter from him since those days long ago? No! Did they include their close friends in the final battle? No! They left us to rot at home and went to fight even if they would have died... and this... this is sickening. He left Paris and now he's in Africa... starting to expose our race to the humans. The maid widened her eyes and picked up the letter shakily as I stared at her then scurried off quickly with it, trembling.
"Dante," I heard Raven call out, climbing up into my lap before she wrapped her arms around my neck and giggled. I looked at her, softening my gaze before I smirked.
"Yes, my little princess?" I asked her and lightly touched her nose. She giggled and exposed her fangs before she playfully snarled. "Aren't you my little monster?" I asked and smirked at her. "You'll stay here where it's safe, won't you?" She nodded and snuggled up to me.
"I won't ever leave you, Dante," she whispered and nuzzled her head against me as her golden eyes lit up in delight.
"What are you burning?" I heard Frederick ask as he walked in suddenly with a tray containing two glasses of blood on it. He handed one over to me and sat the next one down on the table next to us. He walked up to the maid and snatched the letter from her and read over the content it contained before his eyes looked towards me and frowned.
"What?" I asked sharply and tilted my head up as I took a sip of the blood in the glass. "I'm allowed to have my opinions." He nodded before he handed the letter back to the maid.
"Continue as you were instructed," he told her. "Then wait for me in the hall." I eyed Frederick over then smirked.
"What's the matter?"
"Nothing," he told me calmly and walked up to me with a huge smile. "Guess who's getting ready to see you soon~" He said in a teasing tone.
"The devil?" I asked and raised an eyebrow. "High time he showed up."
"I'm sure it doesn't work that way," he laughed out and shook his head. "No! Guess again."
"Hmm... Andreas?" I smirked then and settled into my throne with a loud purr. Is it my sweet little Stefan?
"Andreas?" He asked and frowned. "You're bad at this game," he grumbled.
"Hmmm... my next guess would be you, but you're already here," I sung out and took another sip of my blood. "Is it God?"
"I'm done," he said calmly and started to leave with his little tray.
"Stefan?" I called out quickly and chuckled. He chuckled as he looked towards me.
"Not anymore."
"Hey~ I was just playing with you, Frederick~" I purred and waved him back over to me. "I get to have my jokes. It is him, right? Or do I have guests again?" He walked back up to me and smirked.
