Victor's POV:

"What pet are you interested in buying?" Donnie asked me. I frowned and shrugged.

"Dunno. I'm going to look around. Want something while I'm here with you?" I asked him as I walked between the cages and looked at the babies inside.

"N-no. I prefer to live alone personally. I get headaches from my gift I inherited from my mother." He told me and eyed over the cages. "Something young?" He asked me.

"Well it means that they grow up to love me," I said calmly and shrugged. "I'm not looking for a romantic relationship, and getting a baby ensures that I'll be a father figure instead," I told him. "I don't want a mate. I need a bed to myself." He nodded as he followed me and grabbed my hand quickly and rubbed it. I saw something that caught my eyes then- a cute baby fox that reminded me of Trick with it's red fur. The fox was curled up to a few more of it's littler mates against a blanket. I gasped and rushed over to the cage quickly. OH MY HELLISH DAYDREAMS~ IT'S A BABY TRICK! I snatched my hand away from him then reached through the bars, barely touching the fox's soft fur. "Hi~! Hi there cutie~" He looked up at me quickly and a few of his litter mates looked at me curiously. He's a little younger than when I got Trick. He eyed me over and looked like he could barely keep his eyes open from being stirred awake from his nap time. He twitched his ears and snuggled up against my hand quickly. I gasped and rubbed under his chin. "Hey~" I'm so taking him home with me. "I'm going to be your new daddy," I told him sweetly and leaned my face against the cage to get closer to him.

"Are you interested in purchasing?" I heard a woman say as she walked up. "My name is Anne and I run this department. Looks like he's peeked your interest. He's four years old in human years. He's not old enough to transform into his human form yet. Give him another year before his transformations kick in. If you purchase him we'll give you a guide to baby fox transformations. It'll walk you through what to give him and the correct dosages along with other neat things to take care of him with." I smirked and looked at her then.

"I've raised thirteen foxes before, and I've taken care of fourteen. I know what I'm doing," I told her happily. "I just need him." I looked back at the cage and smirked. "Hey cutie~" I rubbed under his chin some more and gave a playful purr. "Let's get you out of there and back home with me."

"Alright, would you like to meet him?" She asked and then took out a set of keys before unlocking the cage for me and waited for me to move before opening it up. "I love little baby foxes," she told me and giggled. I purred as I watched her then snatched him out as soon as it was open and kissed the top of his head.

"Hey cutie," I purred in his ear and then rubbed it. "Aren't you just a little sweetheart? I bet you love mushrooms and you're going to give me hell when you start stealing my shoelaces and my keys~"

"So you want him?" She asked to make sure. He twitched his cute fluffy ears my way and wagged his tail a little as he looked at me before biting down into my fingers and started to suck on them. "It's around the time we wake them up to feed them," she told me thoughtfully. I laughed and watched him then kissed his head.

"I'll feed him if you give me a bottle," I told her calmly. "I'll go ahead and get him. We can fill out the paperwork while he feeds." I shut the cage door for her and clicked the lock shut then looked at her. "We can talk about price too while we're at it."

"Sure!" She gave a huge smile and took her key back. "He's going to cost around fourteen hundred," she told me sweetly. "After all he's a life." She started to walk with me out of the isles of cages. "Right this way, we'll get something in his tummy and get his documents settled." I nodded and followed her quickly as I wrapped my coat around him, letting him stick his head out of the collar of it as I zipped him up into it and gave him another kiss on his head. Cutie~ He licked my chin before sucking on it and gave a hungry growl, one I recognized from the many times I've had baby foxes. Donnie followed us and awed over the babies we passed on the way out. The lady Anne lead us into a nice room where her desk was set up. Her name was on it and there was paperwork everywhere in the room. She motioned for me to sit down as she paged someone before sitting down.
