Wow that took a while. I'm sorry, just honestly don't know what to write

"So, are you two dating? Brick honestly I am so glad. You know, Patty was too much for me after a little, and Magnolia. Oh my god, don't even get me started. Between her father and her mother, that girl is j-" Brick cuts his mom off.

"So you hate them but you're chill with me dating Regina Sinclair's daughter?" Brick laughs.

"Better than sleeping with Regina herself," Coralee responds. Brick looks at me and smiles.

"Well in that case. Eliza, would you maybe wanna be my girlfriend?" He asks.

"One condition," I respond. "If you bring up how you slept with my mom again, I'm out," The three of us laugh and his mom looks at me.

"Why don't we do something tomorrow?" She asks. Brick looks at his mom and then looks at me.

"Yeah why could go to-" Ms. Armstrong cuts her son off.

"Brick, you are not invited. Me and Eliza are going to do something together, alone," She smiles. I smile at her and watch Brick roll his eyes.

"I'm free," I laugh. She smiles and we all finish our dinner.

"Are you staying over tonight?" She asks me before we all get up from the table. Brick looks at me and I look back at him. His face turns red again and I hold in my laugh.

"Actually, I should probably get home. My mom and sister are- well, insane," I laugh.

"Ok, well I will pick you up tomorrow around one," Coralee smiles. I smile back at her and nod. Brick looks up from his phone and grabs his keys.

"And I will drive you home now," He says. We say our goodbyes to his mom and then walk outside, in his car. The drive back to my house was nice. Brick played music that wasn't too loud, but not too quiet.

There wasn't much talking either. We were both just enjoying each others company. Everyone in this dumb town has some kind of problem or some kind of mental issue and I feel like with Brick, it's normal again.

Back home, of course wrestling wasn't the IT sport, and eating dinner with your mom, and having the name 'Brick' isn't a regular thing. But here it is, and it is so much better than having a football player who is an ass to his parents and probably has the name Josh.

We pull up to my house and Brick looks at me.

"Good luck with my mom tomorrow," He laughs a little.

"She's great, I will," I smile at him. We smile at eachother for a few minutes before he leans in for a kiss. His lips meet mine and in that moment, I hear a high pitched squeal. We pull apart and look outside the car.

"Brick Armstrong, look who just cannot get enough of the Sinclair girls! Eliza honey, watch out with him. Next thing you know he will be back for me," My mom opens his door and he slides over closer to me.

She runs his fingers over his chest while continuing to explain how he is secretly still in love with her.

"Ok. Regina, I slept with you because my parents hate you. Not because of any other reason," Brick says removing her hand. I cringe at that sentence and unbuckle my seat belt. My mom starts rambling on again about Brick and I ignore her.

I kiss him, making him ignore her and then get out of the car.

I watch as my mom doesn't move from the car. I roll my eyes and push her out of the way.

"Bye Brick," I say. He kisses me and gives me a hug.

"I'll see you tomorrow babe," He winks. I smile and then close his door before my mom can start something again. He drives away and the two of us start walking inside.

"You know Eliza, Brick is playing you. He knows he is still in love with me so he is using you to get closer to me. I feel bad for him honestly, poor kid," My mom says. I ignore her until the door shuts.

"I just feel bad for you," I reply before walking up to my room. I hear a high pitched yelling coming from downstairs and outside my door. I make sure I look my bedroom door and then put headphones in.
