Jacks POV
(A/N: Everyone please read the A/N at the end of the chapter)
I walked back into Marks room. He looks up from my phone.
I sit next to him on the bed. He has Angry Birds pulled up. I've already beaten all the levels, but it looks like he started over since he's on the third level.
He holds my phone to me to see if I want to play. I shake my head. He begins to play the level.
I started thinking about the conversation Ethan and I had. Does Mark think we are friends? I think we are. I mean, he does kinda live with me. I mean, he didn't start living here because we're friends. I don't even know how long he'll stay. It's up to him to leave when he wants so long as he doesn't tell anyone about this place.
"Do you want any food?"
He hesitated, staring intently on the level.
"Mark?" I ask to see if he heard me.
He released the final bird and looked up at me. He shook his head, then returned to looking at his screen.
"A walk?"
He looked back up at me and smiled. He nodded and gave me my phone. I placed it on the desk and went to the door, mark followed.
We went silently through the halls. I smiled and waved at a few people. He didn't seem bothered by it.
I saw the doors to the courtyard and pointed in that direction. Mark looked over and walked with me to the doors.
I sat down at a bench. Mark followed my movement and sat next to me.
I looked around a scenery. Not much is here. I went through and cleaned all of it in spring, but I like the look of the vines on the brick.
I felt a tap on my shoulder. Sierra is standing behind me. She has sternness and anger in her eyes. "Yeah?" I say, worried.
"Like your new friend, huh?"
I look at Mark worried. He's going to have no idea who I'm talking to.
Sierra moves to stand in front of me. "Answer me!"
"Uh" is all I manage to say. What about Mark? I don't want him to leave.
"Have a conversation with me! So what if Mark is here? I know it's too big of a secret to tell, but at least talk to me. Please."
"Uhm. I mean we are friends."
Sierra starts to be more calm and collected. "Look. I Get it. I know I've been a bad friend. I haven't talked to you at all. I've just been so angry. Mark shouldn't be here. I think... I think He should go home."
My heart sank. She has care and genuineness laced in her voice. "Why?" I ask.
I get another tap on my shoulder, but it's not from Sierra. I look over to see Marks worried and confused face. "Um Mark... look. I'm talking to..." I look to Sierra.
"Hey, I can't tell you what to say. Don't look at me."
I look back to Mark. "I'm a little crazy so just don't be worried, okay? I'll explain later."
He nods in confusion and looks at the scenery again. "Okay. Why?" I ask Sierra again.
"His parents might come looking for him, he's a walking and talking reminder Felix broke your trust, he might spread your secret, he might just be using you, or he just wants to flat out manipulate you!"
"He wouldn't do that. Would he?"
"He might. He hasn't shown any signs he wants to manipulate you in any way, but be weary in that case."
"And his parents won't find us."
"Be weary of that too, Jack. Also, if he's really staying and you think he truly belongs here..." she let out a long sigh,"please don't fall head over heels whether you think you could or not."
I nodded and motioned to Mark to walk out of the courtyard with me.

A/N: Alright. So, please read this! I'm stripping this book if it's Septiplier title. It will no longer be a Septiplier book. The characters names will not change. But, in the next few days/weeks I will be working on changing a few small things towards the beginnings of the book. I'll also be taking out some authors notes. THE STORYLINE WILL NOT CHANGE. So while I'm changing and updating some stuff, you may want to change the reading list this book is in. The new genre is still to be decided. This will be a gradual change, so it'll take time. Which means no new chapters will come out for a bit.
The reason I'm changing it to not be Septiplier? I don't ship Septiplier anymore. I haven't for awhile but I love this book and where it's going, but I knew that it would continue to be disrespectful to jack and mark as long as a keep it as a Septiplier book. So that's why.
Thanks everyone for sticking with me and my crappy publish schedule!
We've also recently hit 1 k reads!!! HOLY CRAP THANK YOU.
