3 ; teen clubs & hot tubs

july 6th

after the pool i decided to go back to the room and nap. there was no way i was making friends just walking around i had to wait till tonight. i took a quick shower and got into bed. i set my alarm for 6pm

,

"wake up octavia!" brittany yelled

"whhaaattt" i stretched the word

"dinner is at eight and it's seven girl"

"oh my god" i jumped up and started to do my makeup & hair

"who the fuck makes dinner at eight?"

"it's gonna be like that all week" she said

i groaned. dinner at eight is going to make me late to everything i can already tell

after i finished i put on flowly pants and a black crop top, nothing to fancy

"it's eight we have to go"

i quickly took a glass cup and filled it half way with the vodka i snuck on to the ship

"no chaser?" brittany laughed

"not tonight" i say while chugging half of it

we walked down the next hallway and met up with some of the cousins. we all walked down to dinner together

when we got to the dining room we got seated at probably the biggest table there. the room was fancy and the food selection was even fancier. maybe i could get used to this food for a week

the whole dinner i kept checking my phone for the time. i wanted to get out of there and go make friends

"you got a hot date octavia?" kevin asked

i immediately rolled my eyes. kevin is my cousin jaclyn's husband and he pisses me off one hundred percent of the time

"well since you care so much i'm trying to leave to go make some friends my own age" i fake smiled at him

"feisty"

i gave him a dirty look

i scanned the table and noticed everyone was done so i got up and left without even saying goodbye

i raced down the staircase to the floor with the teen club, when i arrived it was completely dead. i wasn't about to go in but something told me give it a shot

i opened the door and in front of me were two girls who looked around my age

"this looks lame" i laugh

one of the girls turned around "i know right"

"i'm octavia"

"jenn" the brown haired girl said

"nicole" the blonde said

"i'm trying to make a group of people our age, but it seems to not be working out" as i look around the room

"us too, we wanna make friends" nicole said

"let's just sit in here and wait for others to come along" i suggest, they both agree so we sit and we begin talking about where we are from and basic things

i gathered that they're best friends from new jersey who are on the ship for jenn's birthday

a few minutes pass by and a girl and boy walk into the club, i immediately call them over

we all get to talking and i learn this girls name is rebecca and she's here with her family and two other cousins who are meeting her in the club & the boy she was with name is christian and he actually lives only thirty minutes away from me

christian and i talked about how we snuck alcohol on and everyone was amazed. as if i was going on this cruise without it!

we all started to get along really well and i was so happy meeting all these new people

it began to get late jenn and nicole had to go back to there room so we all walked them to the elevator. they got in their own and left

a elevator opened and everyone else jumped in, as i walked in i noticed a kid who wasn't in the club

"who's this?" i looked at the tall cute boy

"this is my cousin grayson" rebecca said

"hey"

"hey" he smiled

i've never seen such a tall built sixteen year old in my whole life, he was perfect. i knew i had to have him

everyone else besides rebecca,joslyn, grayson, and i stayed out. we wanted to explore the ship so we walked around trying to find cool places

"where are you from?" grayson asked

"new york, i'm guessing your from jersey" i say

"yup, seems like everyone on this cruise is" we laughed. as we walked around grayson and i had small conversation about ourselves

we were walking towards the front of the boat and we ended up in the hot tub room.

"no fucking way, we have to go in guys" i say

"yes!" rebecca screamed

"let's all go get bathing suits on and meet back here" joslyn suggests

"i forgot we have no service, we're gonna have to live like amish people for a week" grayson says which makes everyone laugh

as i walked back to my room alone to change. all i could think about was grayson, i'm starting to think this week might be fun after all

i put my cutest bathing suit on and rushed back to the hot tub room. we all got back at around the same time

"i haven't been in a hot tub in years!" rebecca says and i agree. we take our cover ups off and jump in

we were all swimming around and laughing about how hot it really is

"can i join?" a voice behind us says

we all turn around and welcome him into the hot tub

"i'm steven" he says, we all get to know him. it's crazy how fast you make friends here

i put my head back on the railing and tried to relax for a few seconds but as soon as i close my eyes water gets thrown at me. i opened my eyes and saw grayson laughing at me from across the tub

"oh it's so on!"

i started splashing him and automatically it started a war

"you got water in my eye!" grayson screamed

"you started this" we laughed together

i could tell grayson was trying to flirt with me because he would only splash and joke around with me. i get such a warm feeling inside while i'm with him

& from that moment on i knew i was going to get grayson even if it was the last thing i do
