7 ; cheers!

july 8th

the whole bus ride back to the dock and ship was quiet. brittany has been in a bad mood since we left the beach for no reason. i unzipped my backpack and looked at the stuff i had just bought from the Ron Jon Surf Shop. I got a sticker for my laptop and journal, a chapstick, and a shot glass. the bus stopped and we all got off

jack and dylan were goofing off while brittany walked far ahead of us back to the boat. I just wanted to be back on already, i wondered what grayson and everyone else was doing

we lined up and got back on fast and easily

dylan, jack, and brittany went to their rooms. i didn't want to communicate with brittany so i decided to not follow her back

the boat was pretty empty. i figured everyone was out exploring florida while they still had time

i walked over to the phone near the elevators, pulled up my notes on my phone and looked at grayson and rebecca's room numbers

i decided to call rebecca's room first

it rang 5 times then disconnected

i typed in grayson's room number

it rang twice before i heard a voice on the other line

"hello?" grayson's voice echoed through the phone

"hey, it's octavia. where is everyone?" i asked

"there's like nobody on the boat, but rebecca and jos are here if you wanna come" he said

"coming now"

"see ya" he said while hanging up

i connected the phone back to the wall and pressed the button for the elevator

after a minute a empty elevator arrived and i got in. i pressed the 8th floor button and it moved up slowly

i watched out the glass that looked over the main floor of the ship. the elevator stopped and opened up, i walked out and down the hallway to grayson's room number

once i arrived i knocked on the door

i could hear them talking from the hallway

the door swung open and grayson was standing in front of me

"hey" i smiled

"hey" he opened the door and made room for me to come in

"hey how was florida?" jos asked

i sat on the bed

"it was fun, i've never been so it was cool"

they all gasped at me

"when did you guys get back on?" i ask

"we never got off" rebecca laughed

"we've been to florida hundreds of times" grayson added

suddenly i felt awkward

"i'm just glad i'm back with you guys. my family was making me feel like jumping off the boat" i layed on the bed next to jos

for the next hour and a half we layed on the beds and talked. rebecca and i were excited for the night to approach. everything fun happens at night

i looked at the clock and decided it was time for me to leave and get ready for dinner. i started putting on my shoes

"i have to go to stupid dinner soon. i'll call one of you when i get out" i say making my way to the door

it didn't take me long to get changed and meet my family in the dinning hall

i sat next to my brother

"what did i miss?"

"nothing much, just drunk adult talk" he whispered

i looked around at my family and noticed them all ordering more alcohol

maybe this is why i'm a lowkey a alcoholic i laughed to myself

dinner went slow as usual

by the end the waiter had come back to do little magic tricks. i watched and was actually amazed, how do cruise workers learn to do these things?

as soon as he was done i ran out of the hall and up to the seventh floor

rebecca, jos, and grayson were already waiting for me on the couches

we all walked down the hallway to my room, i grabbed my backpack containing all the things i might need. i also grabbed the bottle of sangria my cousin bought for me

"where is everyone?" i asked

"we have no clue, let's check the top decks" jos said

rebecca and jos walked in front of grayson and i

i tapped his shoulder and he looked at me

i pulled the bottle out a little to show him and his eyes lit up

he pulled me to the side and we stopped walking

he didn't say anything but grabbed my waist

i stood there and starred at him

"yes?" i asked while his hands were still on me

"i'm already a little tipsy" he slurred

i giggled

"what did you drink?" i smiled

"my dad got me a few beers" he laughed and rubbed his eyes

"great now i have to catch up"

we both laughed

"we're gonna lose the girls let's go" i say pulling his arm

"ughhhhhh" he huffed

we started walking and his hands were still all over my body, and i loved every second of it

the automatic doors opened and we joined everyone outside. almost all the teens we've meet so far we're here chilling on the lounge chairs

i sat next to rebecca and jos

"hey girl!" jenn yelled

i noticed her sitting basically on top of christian with jenn next to them and waved back

everyone sat in a huge circle just talking and drinking whatever they could find

i pulled out my sangria, poured cups for rebecca, jos, grayson and anyone else who asked

i held my cup up

"cheers, to many more nights of this" i say loudly

"cheers!!" everyone screamed

i sipped my drink and my eyes wondered the group

i stopped when i made eye contact with grayson because he was already looking at me

i smiled and took another sip
