july 9th

"where should we go?" jos asked

"security is out and about. let's just go to my room" grayson explained

we all walked into the elevator and up to graysons floor.

the doors opened and the three of them walked out as i stood inside

"you coming?" grayson asked

i knew i was invited to hangout but i didn't want to seem clingy

i smiled and stepped out of the elevator

we turned the hallway and passed 3 rooms before approaching his.

"who do you share a room with?" i asked

"nobody" he smirked

he slid his key into the door handle and it opened

we all walked in and i threw myself onto the bed

"what kind of channels do you think they have?" rebecca asked turning on the tv

"probably the fucking menu & directory" i laughed causing them to laugh as well

she scrolled through the six channels they had

"it all costs 20 bucks! fuck that"

"no way" my eyes widened

"scroll down" i demanded

"they have porn" jos screamed

we all started hysterically laughing until i realized we had to quiet down

"shhhh"

"alright that's it i'm putting on spongebob" rebecca said scrolling up and clicking the only free show

the girls layed together in one bed while grayson took the other. i'd occasionally glance over and wished i was in his bed

we watched for a while and soon both girls were knocked out. i looked at my phone for the time, 3:30

"well they're knocked" i whispered

"pussys" grayson laughed

i grabbed my backpack and put on my shoes

grayson got up from the bed as i walked to the door

i had to open and i turned around to say goodbye, but grayson was putting on his shoes

"you going somewhere?" i asked

"wherever you're going" he smiled

we walked to the elevator and got in

"where are we going?" i asked

he pressed the top deck button

the whole way to the front of the ship we walked in silence, but it felt nice to not talk. we liked each other's presence

the front of the ship was basically a huge deck with lounge chairs everywhere and it overlooked the ocean we were sailing against

we went over to the front edge and pulled two chairs right next to each other

we both laid down

i looked up at the dark sky

the next 45 minutes felt like something out of a movie. we talked about everything, not a moment of silence. our dreams, fears, life, everything that came to our minds. for a guy i just met this felt like the deepest conversation i've ever had

"are you dating anyone?" he asked

oh boy i saw this coming

"i was talking to someone before the cruise but i ended it because the cruise"

"so no boyfriend?" he asked again

"nope. i've never even had one" i admitted

he looked surprised

"really? that's shocking"

i blushed

"what's you're girlfriends name?" i asked

"victoria"

"cool"

"so if you never dated anyone, are you a virgin?" he asked

i stopped and thought about what i wanted my answer to be. yes i'm a virgin, but do i want him to know that?

"yeah" i said quickly

"really? there was never one person you wanted to lose it too?"

"there was, but he ended up cheating on me. so thank god i didn't" i explained truthfully

"damn i'm sorry"

"it's fine" i smiled

"i'm glad i saved it though. i want it to be memorable, somewhere epic with someone i love. you know?"

"like on this ship" he laughed

"imagine" i laughed too

"so did you lose yours to victoria?" i asked

"yeah. she's the only girl i've ever been with though"

"do you regret it?" i asked

"at the time no, but now maybe a little"

"why now?"

"because i would've saved it for you"

those words came out of his mouth and my heart double beated

"excuse me but is drunk grayson still here and i don't know about it" i say laughing

"nope, sober grayson only"

"hmm"

"if only you didn't have a girlfriend" i fake sighed

if he was going to start flirting, then nothing was stopping me

"if only"

"you know what they say though. what happens on a cruise, stays on the cruise"

we both started dying laughing

we laid for a few minutes more listening to the ocean waves. i checked my phone

"holy shit it's 4:30! i have to sleep, we will be in the bahamas soon" i sit up

"noooooo, let's stay a little longer" he begged and tugged on my shirt

"grayson we have to go" i gave him a stern look

"fine" he wined

he walked me all the way back to my room

"see you tomorrow?" he asked

"today actually" i smiled

"right" he laughed

then i turned around and walked into my cabin

i closed the door and leaned against it smiling at how tonight was so magical
