9 ; 24/7 pizza

july 9th

we just kept running, even when we were far from the casino. we stopped out of breath near the 24 hour pizza place on the main deck. i could see some of my cousins at one of the bars

"i'll go get us water and a table" grayson said

i nodded my head and started waking over to my cousins

"hey guys long time no see"

they all turned around and yelled my name, i rolled my eyes at how drunk they all were

"how's you and that boy?" jamie smirked

"going good, how's you and that vodka tonic?" i laughed

"going good. you need one?" she asked

"make it two please" i smiled

she went to the bartender and ordered me what i asked for, then handed them to me

"thank you love" i hugged her

"if you see grandpa, i did not buy you that!" she drunkly laughed

i laughed and continued back to the pizza place and table grayson, rebecca, and jos were at

"where have you guys been?!" i asked sliding grayson the vodka tonic, his eyes lit up

"the real question is we're have you two been?" she raised her eyebrow and looked at grayson and i

before i could get any words to even form in my mouth, i was interrupted

"mom?" jos said

as soon as grayson heard her say that he took our cups and hid them under the table

we looked behind us and saw almost all of their family. i was nervous to meet graysons parents, i didn't think it would be so soon

"it's almost 2 am! you need to get to the cabin!" her mom said

"ugh don't ruin the fun mom" she responded

rebecca's parents laughed and made some jokes

"you still have days to hangout, going to bed now won't ruin that" she smiled

"who's this?" rebecca's dad asked looking right at me

"i'm octavia. nice to meet you" i smiled

"nice to meet you too" they all said

they asked me some normal 'get to know each other' questions and then after a while jos stopped the conversation

"alright let's not bore her to death. time for bed" she sarcastically smiled

jos and rebecca stood up and got there stuff together. i watched as grayson stood put in the seat across from me

"nice to meet you octavia, we will see you soon" rebecca's dad said

"and you no later then 3" graysons mom said

"got it" he responded

they all began walking away

"not too much fun" graysons dad winked at him

they turned the corner and grayson chuckled

"sorry about that" he laughed

"it's fine" i smiled

we both ate a slice of pizza and finished our drinks

i could feel myself starting to get tipsy and could tell grayson was too

we walked down the middle of the main deck. it was so peaceful around this time because all the drunks have left the bar and the only people still waking around were workers

we were walking side by side in comfortable silence

the first time his hand gently touched mine by accident he pulled away, but a few seconds later our hands touched again and instead of pulling away he grabbed mine

our fingers interlocked slowly as we kept walking

even though we weren't physically speaking i felt so close to him

i didn't know where we were going but i never wanted this to end

and then it did

jos and rebecca came running around the elevator area corner

grayson and i immediately ungripped our hands, so fast they didn't even notice

"what the fuck, i thought you guys went to bed?" i said

"we only have 5 days left together and you think i'm going to sleep at 2 am? your funny" rebecca said

i looked at all three of them and smiled
