The wind blew swiftly and the petals of the cherry blossom accompanied them to provide breeze and fragrance to the sweat glistened face of Ophelia .
When the petals landed on her cheeks she smiled faintly remembering how she used to love spending her time with Liam and Yangzom after finishing all their allotted lessons .
" I wish time could reverse " She spoke softly holding the petals in hand .
Championship was only one week away and she had to train hard . The moment she registered was the moment she realized that there was no going back . She may have hated to join it at first but now she realised that she had to earn Kai's trust again and for that she needed time which could only be achieved by being a part of this championship .
No matter what he says or does , she had to make it up to him . So what if he hates her ? At least he has some feelings for her . Hate is like a cherry on top tantalizing from outside and sweet from inside .
" Seems like I have to work really hard fulmina " she said and remembering him brought a genuine smile on her face .
"We will " fulmina spoke .
She nodded and stood up from the ground and dusted imaginary dust from her back and positioned herself to throw her blade .
" 1,2,3 Showtime ."
Her blade emitted faint purple light and landed on the ground and accelerated it's spinning . It once again rose high and in a flash the tree in front of it fell to its side and dense white fumes encored the space where fulmina was spinning at a fast rate with each passing second .
Ophelia was sweating profusely . Her eyes never leaving her blade and her mind never failing to process things around her .
With a swift, a blade was launched in the direction of her blade . She had already sensed the arrival of a person and was prepared to defend .
The blade clashed with fulmina and behold dense white fumes encored the place making it hard for any novice to see but the two bladers were immovable . Their concentration never swayed and their determination hardened more .
Clink and clash were the only sound heard until a voice spoke " Dragoon ! end the game . "
Instantly Dragoon glowed with blue light and it showed its mighty form .
" Fulmina ! Take the opportunity " Phi spoke and then a purple Phoenix in all its glory descended from the blade and mesmerised it's opponent .
Tyson's eyes hardened and he clenched his fists .
" DRAGOON . NOW!!!!!!" And two metals clashing against each other was the last sound heard before silence engulfed the place .
.............
" It's a tie " Tyson was the first one to speak .
He was on his knees barely supporting himself with his hands on the ground while phi was resting her back against a fallen tree momentarily closing her eyes due to exhaustion .
" Indeed " she replied curtly and opened her eyes to check her surroundings .
The place was totally blown up . The trees were fallen and a big black hole was formed where the blades had been competing .
She reluctantly got up and picked her blade .
Tyson studied her for a long time . He also got up and picked his blade and facing her ,he finally spoke " your blade has a different aura . How ? "
" It's my blade's aura not mine so ask it yourself " she replied and again sat down resting her back.
He too sat beside her and smiled .
" I am glad to meet such a great bladder . " He said with a faraway look in his face .
She smiled . " And I am glad to meet a goof ."
Now it was his time to smile .
" Tyson !! Pearl !! Tyson !" Hillary ,Kenny , Ray and Max came running towards them accompanied by kai and Hiro who showed no emotion at all .
" Look at this place . What on earth happened here ? " Max exclaimed
" Are you guys alright ?" Hillary asked and stepped towards them .
Tyson smiled and opened his mouth to answer but was cut short by Phi .
" You guys won't believe what happened here . I was lacking in my practice but Tyson found me and was helping me but suddenly a mysterious blader appeared and challenged Tyson . They fought dangerously and from our condition you guys can make out the aftermath of the face off ." She faked a sigh and looked at Tyson .
He was bewildered to hear her lie . He stared at her and she stared back at him challenging him to defy her statement .
He could no longer stare so he looked away and went with her flow .
" Yeah . I wonder who the blader was ." Saying he stood up and helped Phi stand up .
" As long as you are okay , everything is fine . Now let's go back " Kenny smiled and held Phi to support her to walk .
Kai was lazily watching but after hearing Phi say that , he turned on his heels and with a hardened gaze he walked off .
" Who is she trying to fool ? " He mumbled .
Hiro who was standing not far from kai looked at his retreating back with a look which said ' I will solve this mystery soon .'
