It was three days now that it took Viggo to pick her up and still he didn't come. As the days went by, Ann got worried more and more the time went by. Havòk reassured her more than once that Viggo would come back for her, as he always does. Ann was feeding Mike when a Terrible Terror flew in with a scroll wrapped around its paw. "Hmmm..." Taking a closer look, it was addressed to Havòk.
After she was done feeding her son and laid him to sleep for a while, Ann went to look for Havòk. Nowhere to be found. "Hey dad, do you know where Havòk is?" "I believe he went to see the Sacred Dragons. He seems to be fascinated by them." Ann shook her head. How could she miss such detail?
"He is indeed amazed by them. I'll go to him. There is something that I have to give him which came in just now." She urged herself. "Do I have to watch Mike for you?" Steve offered her. "He is asleep but hey, if you want to spend time with your grandson, then be my guest." Ann smiled as she walked backwards towards the Sacred Waters.
As she walked to the Waters, she saw Havòk sitting on his knees studying her dragon. "Hey Havòk, what are you doing?" She startled Havòk a little. "You know that I am amazed by these creatures, Ann." "True." She said casually while walking up to him and her own Dragon. "A letter came in for you." Ann handed the scroll over.
Havòk was bewildered and Ann could see his eyes grow wide as he saw the sealed scroll. "What is it?" She asked him. "That seal... It is the same as the one on the letter I received from my daughter." He breathed out in astonishment. "That's great! So why wait opening it?" Ann laid a hand on his right shoulder. Taking a deep breath in and out, Havòk opened the letter to see and read the content out loud.
Dear Havòk,
Thank you for your message to me. If you say that it is true what I have found in my mother's diary that you are my father, then I would love to finally meet you again. It has been so long that I may have forgotten what you look like. Is there a place where I can find you? Where we can meet?
Love, Frigg
Havòk put the letter down and sighed her name out. "Oh, Frigg... My little girl." Tears were flowing in his eyes as the memories of his daughter as a little girl flashed back to his mind. "Come here." Ann hugged him tightly and rubbed his back. "Just let everything go." She whispered into his ear.
An ocean of tears were escaping from his eyes. "I missed her so much." "I know how it feels. But if she wants to see you, then I'd say you let her come this way. And soon." Ann offered. "Really, Ann?" He could barely look her in the eyes. "I insist. It is important that you two have the opportunity to see each other again. Come. We head back to my house and then we send her a letter back." Ann stood up and reached her hand out for him. Hope and faith returned into his eyes and he firmly grabbed Ann's hand. The rush to see his daughter made him feel like he could be a father for her again.
After Havòk had sent out the letter, Steve came to them. "Hey, sweetheart." "Ow, hey dad. Hey you little rascal of mine." She got Mike over from him and kissed his cheeks and little head full. It made him laugh at it. "I have to admit, his laugh is really cute." Steve told his daughter. "Well, he's your grandson. It kinda obvious where he gets his craziness from." Ann joked with her father.
The three of them enjoyed Mike's laughter until Steve spoke up again. "Ann, sweetheart, I noticed that there are ships coming this way with a strange sign on its sails. Do you recognize them?" "I don't know, let's see it." She gave Mike to Havòk for a moment and walked out with her father.
Taking a look on which ships they were, they were nothing like those of Krogan's. "I'm not sure what to do now, dad. Those aren't any of our ships." "Then we have to make sure they do not attack us." Her father ran ahead to the shore while Ann quickly turned to face Havòk one last time. "Havòk, stay here with Mike." He nodded before she ran off to follow her father.
