This story that I am going to tell you is a story of fun and horror. I  won't say that it is true I will let you be the judge of that. The night was Halloween night before John Tunstall was killed. He always give us a big Halloween party. And midnight was what he called story telling time. we each took turns of standing up in front of everyone and telling our scariest story. this story was told by my friend and fellow regulator Chavez his being part Indian made him a great story teller. after the party was over we helped Mr. Tunstall clean up. I was the last one to go the bunk house and the first one to see the headless horseman. I told everyone about what I saw but my bad feeling was right they didn't believe me at all. my older brother Dick said " Kid stop making up wild stories and stop reading so many books on ghost stories. and another one of my fellow regulators Charlie said " Aw hog boy is scared of the dark poor baby." Dirty Steve didn't say anything at all. Chavez said " you see my story is true." Doc said " guys the Kid is right about the horseman because I have seen him my self." John said " Doc and Billy has both seen the horseman but nobody knows who he was before he died Regulators we have a mystery on our hands." the next day we was helping Mr. Tunstall put some old news papers away when I came across an old news paper that told about a young gunfighter that was murdered two years before Mr. Tunstall took me in. But I was shocked to see that the picture in the that paper look just like my brother Dick. I showed it to Chavez. Chavez said " you see Billy those two nuts are dumb asses and they are wrong." the paper said that he was killed in a robbery. he didn't have much money so the robbers killed him and cut off his head. his name was Morgan Mason. and every Halloween he comes back to haunt the ones that killed him. so now I know for myself that Chavez is right.
