that same day I escaped from the and ran into the woods and stayed hid until they had stopped looking for me. then I ran to John's ranch and clasped in the barn in too much pain to move and too tired to make it to the house I lay there in the hay breathing hard and my heart is beating way too fast that it is making my chest hurt I try to calm down. Chavez is in the barn taking care of Balto. I look over at them I try to go over to them but I can barely stand up but I force myself to my feet and make it over to them before clasping again. I black out where they are. but I will not give up no matter what happens to me I have something worth fighting for. and I know now that if I lose myself my courage will follow. my family is worth fighting for. and in my heart I know that Balto is going to be alright. I open my bright blue eyes to see Balto lay his head on my chest. Chavez smiles knowing that Balto is going to be alright and his little brother is going to be alright too.
