John decided to hold his Halloween party at Alex and Susan's house the party was a masquerade party Chavez was a skeleton and I was a werewolf thanks to Doc's help and Richard was Dracula and Steve was Frankenstine and Charley was a boxer. Doc had made a grand appearance as The Phantom Of The Opera and John was Abe Lincoln the party was fun. But for Steve and Charley spent the whole party in the outhouse thanks to a little thing that I call pay back Doc calls it karma I had made two batches of cookies one batch of cookies was for everybody else to eat and the second batch of cookies was for Steve and Charley I had slipped some of John's laxatives into Steve and Charley's cookies. And after they ate their cookies they kept running back and forth to the outhouse as they say pay back is hell and as Doc says karma's a bitch that will teach Steve and Charley not to hack on me and Chavez anymore. Everybody had wished Alex happy birthday. I sit at a table alone looking at my mother's picture that is in her compact mirror and missing her so much. I fight back the tears. And then the talk turns to planning my birthday party. I think that next time that Steve and Charley think about hacking on me and Chavez they will think twice about it. They will look back on this night and remember how karma came back to kick them in the butt. When we came back home. I sit alone on John's porch for alone time thinking.
