Mingyu was in his room, he had been stuck to his phone for the past weeks and Minghao didn't bother to ask why. He heard his door crack open and he looked up to see his bestfriend's head peeped in. "I'll be hanging out with Wonwoo and Jun alright?" he informed the other. "Do you want me to bring you anything home? Like Wonwoo, perhaps?" he teased.

Mingyu chuckled, nonetheless it made him smile. But he coughed and bit his lip, looking away from Minghao. "None. I won't need anything."

Minghao raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "Okay then." he stood awkwardly. "I'll be off now!" Mingyu nodded as he kept his eyes back on his phone and heard his door shut close.

As soon as he heard the front door shut from outside. He sat up and turned his phone on, pulling up the familiar contact.

Minji

He had been grouped with her for a small project, and since then, they've gotten close. Closer than the both of them had expected them to be. Mingyu felt a connection, that they clicked for a while. And he had forgotten completely about Wonwoo.

And he was happy about it.

Well, in a good way— forgot about his feelings for Wonwoo. And yet he didn't want to seem mean or bad or greedy. He liked her because she helped him forget about his feelings for Wonwoo. She helped him fix up the void of rejection that he felt. The doubt. The feelings.

Bestfriend's out wanna come here?

Sure sure

I just left my dorm for a run
I'll be back by 20 mins.

I'll be waiting 😘

Mingyu cringed at his own text. He rubbed his forehead and sighed deeply. "What am I doing?" he stood up frustratingly.

"Let's just get this over with."

He heard the knock on the door a few minutes later. Eager to see Minji, he rushed towards the front door and opened it, revealing the neatly groomed Minji.

"Hello." Mingyu smiled at the latter.

"Hello to you too, Mingyu." she chuckled, before being brought inside.

They spent their time together. Not minding the world happening around them. Just Mingyu and Minji.

But Mingyu couldn't just ignore the guilt building up beneath his stomach. The twist and the heavy feeling that couldn't just be shrugged off. But, surely in time he'd start to really like her. Right?

Surely he should slowly start to finally like her. Right?

"Well it's time for me to go, sadly." Minji said. Mingyu walked up to the front door opening it as she walked out.

He looked outside, left and right to check if there are any of his friends, especially Minghao, at their hall — right before he swooped down and kissed Minji.

He enjoyed it for the while. Until, he started thinking differently; that Minji, turned into Wonwoo.

What if I was kissing Wonwoo?

Would his lips be as soft as hers'?

Would he kiss back?

Wonwoo, Wonwoo, Wonwoo-

And so he kissed once more. To get the feeling that it's Minji not Wonwoo. But the thought never slipped his mind. He had ended up re-imagining that the kiss was with the familiar raven haired book lover. Take the moment to feel as if it's his lips he's kissing.

It was treacherous, for his own mind to do such a thing. Not noticing that he would be starting to slowly hurt Minji. An innocent. Rather, he believed that overtime, he'd get over the stupid crush, and their relationship would work out just perfectly.

Oh how wrong he was.

Mingyu hadn't notice that they have already parted and that Minji had given another peck --- to which he replied with a soft smile. He watched her leave and as soon as she was no where to be seen, his smile immediately faltered. Closing back the door.

Mingyu heard that Minghao had arrived a few minutes after. He was staying in his room when the front door opened and he bolted outside, hearing the familiar voices.

"Thanks for bringing me home."

"No problem."

"Just. . . Text me again about it alright?"

"Yeah."

He heard wonwoo's sweet deep voice before the door had closed. The younger snapped out of his thoughts before turning the corner to see Minghao, who had covered up his frown quickly.

"Hey Hao! How was it?" Mingyu asked.

"We had fun." Minghao simply said.

Mingyu smiled, but he did not take notice of the older's disappointed look before going to his room.
