The next day, it seemed as if Wonwoo was more down, quiet and even had a frown on his face.
He of course didn't want to bother Wonwoo about it or burden Wonwoo to tell him, but he was itching to find out. He also really didn't like seeing his friends in a sad state.
As Wonwoo and him were preparing to leave, he walked up to the younger. "Hey, mind telling me what happened? I'm here to listen."
Wonwoo sighed, still looking at the last stack of books and. . . Smiling for the first time today.
But his smile didn't seem like he was genuinely happy.
He looked pained. His smile barely making his normal eye crescent and nose scrunch before it had turned into another frown.
He sighed, fixing the books again.
"It's just- It's been a lot lately." he said.
"I don't want to be a burden, but you can tell it to me." Jisoo said, helping him rearrange the magazines.
Wonwoo had mentioned a lot of moments he had the courage to bring up. With Jeonghan and Mingyu's small fight being the last of what he mentions.
"Jeonghan? Are they alright?" Jisoo asked worried for the latter
"I don't know. Jeonghan surprisingly hasn't gone to the library much these days." the black haired boy exhaled. "Well I hope he's alright."
"Thank you for listening."
Jisoo nodded. "No problem."
-
Jeonghan had been laying down on the couch, it was silent but his loud thoughts were the only ones keeping him sane.
He heard a couple knocks on the door.
Standing up, he walked over and swung the door open, revealing a worn out Jisoo.
"Hey." Jisoo sheepishly smiled to Jeonghan. "Are you alright?" he asked with a worried tone.
Jeonghan chuckled widening the gap of the door and allowing Jisoo to step inside.
The two sat beside each other. Jeonghan had moved the set of pillows aside where he stayed.
Joshua had a look of concern in his face. "Are you okay?" he asked Jeonghan.
All he got in reply was a chuckle. "Totally." Jeonghan spoke sarcastically.
Jisoo sighed and moved closer. He turned the latter's chin to examine his face. "Tsk tsk, look how many bruises and scratches you have..."
Jeonghan's breath hitched, his heart started racing as he tried to avoid eye contact with the male. Looking away and back at those brown beautiful eyes.
And how close they were.
Jisoo released his hand, he also hadn't realized he held his face so gently.
"Now where do you put your first aid kit?" Joshua said as he stood up. Walking over to the kitchen and looking through the cabinets.
Jeonghan followed in suit, " Just near there." he spoke as he pointed to the cupboard above Joshua.
He forgot he had stacked a bunch of cooking books up there for it had been no use to him anymore.
It was about to fall on Joshua.
"Joshua!"
"Huh-"
Jeonghan had quickly caught Joshua before the huge stack of books had made a loud thud on the floor.
"Thank God. That was close." Jeonghan sighed as he looked towards the stack of books.
"Well then," he chuckled. "That was a close-" he turned around only to ser that he had been very close to Joshua.
Jisoo closed his mouth. The proximity of their faces were close enought that they could feel each other's breath on their skin. Jisoo trapped in between Jeonghan's arms his hands practically touching the older's chest. His heart racing. His mind was a mess. What- what's happening?
Though Jisoo didn't push Jeonghan away. He didn't want to. He didn't know why.
Jeonghan stared deeply into the latter's eyes. He held the side of Jisoo's face.
What was he doing?
Why was he doing this?
Was this just a chance to finally kiss Jisoo?
He know's what will happen after. But only now mattered to him.
They probably wouldn't be friends anymore.
Jisoo might think that he's a weirdo for kissing him. He might not talk to him ever again.
But their hearts raced. The both knew what was happening but none of them gave two craps about it.
Jeonghan's eyes slowly closed as he inched closer to Jisoo. Jisoo felt his own eyes closing.
What was he doing?
And soon enough Jeonghan's lips had touch his.
He quickly let go. Hoping for the younger not to get mad as he looked and quickly walked away from the latter.
"I- I just wanted to do it. I know you hate me now but I've liked you for a while." he said, avoiding eye contact at all costs.
Jisoo was confused. From that peck he wanted more. More than just a one second kiss.
"Jisoo, you can leave."
"No..." Jeonghan turned around to Jisoo.
"Jisoo-"
And he felt a pair of lips crash onto his. His eyes slowly closed again. And wrapped his arms around the boy.
The ecstatic feeling rush through his body.
It felt so right.
Jisoo kissed more, threading his finger's through Jeonghan's hair as the older hugged his waist.
It felt so right.
Jisoo felt Jeonghan's smile through the kiss as he chuckled back.
The parted, out of breath. Jeonghan smiling and still hugging the younger's waist.
Jisoo leaned his head on Jeonghan's chest. "I- I'm not mad at you. I'll never be mad at you. And I. . . I think I like you too."
Jeonghan's shocked face turned into a sweet smile as he patted Jisoo's hair and chuckled so softly.
It was another beggining for the two.
Joshua looked up and smiled.
"Now let's get you fixed shall we?"
