three days went by fast, and i was more than ready to hear what zack has to say.

i ran towards his house, ready to bang on the door.

i hit the door firmly with my fist, and the door opens to reveal zack.

"youre leaving the door open?"

"well youre gonna hate me when i tell you, so i might as well leave it open so you leave."

i give a look of confusion.

"so have you noticed anything strange about savannah?"

no.

"no, why?"

"she left."

"thats it? i dont exactly know why i would hate you, thats her decision."

"im sorry luke, please leave. i cant talk about this."

and i get pushed out.

and the door slams.

"dammit."

so the last chapters will be short unless i have a lot of inspiration for a long chapter. but in the beginning of the story i said there would be no epilogue but i made up my mind, meaning the "last chapter" (chapter 18) is the epilogue.
