Erela couldn't stop thinking about what Benjamin had told her. She didn't believe him, but what if it was true? And if it was, what could she do? Her dad would never agree to close the cemetery, especially not on Halloween.
She had to tell someone. But who?
Alex might believe it, but wouldn't be any help. Lily wouldn't even listen. Julia would be scared.
Alex was her best option.

Erela knocked in Alex's door. His mother opened it.
"Um, is Alex home?" Erela asked. "He's in his room. As usual," his mother replied. Erela smiled and ran to Alex's room.
"Why are you here? You didn't call," Alex asked. "There's no time for that. This is important," Erela replied. "What's going on?" Alex asked. "One of the ghosts said there's going to be a mass murder on Halloween night. And it's going to start at the cemetery," Erela explained. "Cool," Alex replied. "Not cool! Are you even listening?" Erela yelled. "Yeah. Mass murder on Halloween. Cool," Alex repeated. "What if it's true? This isn't cool," Erela said. "I doubt it's true. They were probably trying to scare you. You know ghosts, always looking for new ways to scare someone. Plus, yours are all old. They probably misunderstood," Alex explained. "You're right. I need to calm down." Erela took a deep breath.
"Do you really believe it?" Alex asked. "Well...no. Especially since only one of them heard about it," Erela replied. "Do you trust them?" Alex asked. Erela hesitated. "Um...I wouldn't be surprised if they made this up," Erela said. "That wasn't the question. Do you trust them?" Alex repeated. "I guess not," Erela said. "Then ignore it," Alex said.
~*~
She couldn't ignore it.
What if it was true? Then people would be killed, and it would be her fault because she knew about it but didn't do anything.
But if it wasn't, she would be causing panic and her dad would be mad about the lost business. And even though he knows the ghosts are real, hearing about this from one of them isn't a good excuse.
Plus, even if the it was closed, people would still come to the cemetery. They always found ways to sneak in. And there was no chance the killers would give up. If people would be there, so would the killers.
And if she didn't do anything and it was true, she was sure Benjamin wouldn't be happy with her. If he wasn't angry, he would at least be upset. Then he would feel guilty even though he did everything he could.
But she couldn't tell her dad. He wouldn't do anything anyway. Not until there was more proof. Her mom wouldn't be any help either. She doesn't want anything to do with ghosts anymore. And there was no way Erela would report this to the police. What would she do about her evidence? They would have to question someone, and it couldn't be Benjamin.
Erela had to accept that there was absolutely nothing she could do, and there was no way she could make everyone happy.
She wouldn't tell anyone until there was more information.
And even though she didn't believe it, she was still fearing Halloween, and she was counting down the days until she would have to disappoint someone.A/N: Sorry this chapter is short. I forgot to write it earlier so now I'm publishing it later than I wanted to.
