When Erela heard the story wasn't true, she didn't know how to feel.
Angry?
Disappointed?
Relieved?
Maybe all three?
Of course, she was mad that he made up something so serious that had already gone too far, and would have gotten even worse had he not admitted it when he did. But at the same time, she was happy there was no threat.
She was also worried.
Where was he?
Would he come back?
Erela hoped so, but nobody else seemed to want him. She hoped he knew he was welcome, but it could take a long time before he feels it is an appropriate time to return.
After all, everyone besides Erela hated him.
And he knew that. He wouldn't be back until he knew they'd want him.
A/N: I'll write longer chapters when I'm not stuck. Once I figure out how I want the rest of the story to go, the chapters will get longer (and better). Please stick around, it'll be worth it in the end. :)
