Mary and Erela both agreed that Benjamin's punishment was too extreme, especially since he was not proven to have done anything wrong. They agreed that the best thing to do was to give him some sort of trial; if what he said about the murders was true, he was welcome back, and if not, he would meet the same fate as Mary's husband: banishment.

They just had to convince everyone else to allow it. They explained their plan to everyone as best as they could, hoping to get a positive response.

"No, he needs to go. 250 years and all he's done is cause trouble," Dorothy argued. "But he hasn't done any real harm. Plus, he's just a kid trying to have fun. I think he deserves a chance," Lucille said. "And what if he was telling the truth? You still won't let him come back?" Lydia asked. It was everyone against Dorothy. Majority rules, so Benjamin would be given one more chance. Eternity all depended on what happened the next night.

Benjamin had been listening, and although he knew what he heard, he was still nervous. What if Erela was right and he misunderstood? What if they changed their minds? If those murders didn't happen for any reason, he could never go back.

Wednesday, October 31st, Halloween night, at 10 p.m., the future of Latenburg Cemetery would be determined once and for all.

A/N: I can't believe we're almost done... What do you guys think will happen?
