"Hey, Ella!" Alex yelled. Erela turned around. "I was thinking about that ghost thing, with the mass murder. I doubt it's true, but I'm sure you're stressed," Alex said. "Of course I am," Erela replied. "Did you ask for more information?" Alex asked. Erela shook her head. "You have to. I can help if you want," Alex offered. "Um...okay. Come to my house after dark. We'll handle this then," Erela agreed. "Maybe you should tell Lily and Julia," Alex suggested. "Well..." "They'll be more helpful than you think," Alex interrupted.
Erela did take his advice. What was the worst that could happen?
"So...on Monday, I heard that someone is planning a mass murder on Halloween," Erela said slowly. "What? Who told you that?" Julia yelled. She was already scared. Erela knew she shouldn't have said anything. "Um...my friend," Erela replied. " Which friend?" Lily asked. Erela hesitated. "Benjamin," she said. "Who's that?" Julia asked. "You wouldn't know him," Erela said. She couldn't say he was a ghost. Then she would have no chance of getting them to help if they knew, since neither of them believed in ghosts. "Okay, well...how do you know he's telling the truth?" Julia asked. "I don't. But I trust him. And we need to do something," Erela replied.
"We should go to the police," Lily said. "But what if it's not true?" Erela asked. "Get more information, then tell them," Julia suggested. "I don't know..." Erela said. "Then get your friend to do it," Lily said. "Um...I can try," Erela said. But he couldn't tell them. She couldn't say that, because she would have to come up with some excuse.
At least she had Alex.

That night, Alex and Erela sat in the cemetery, waiting for someone to come out.
Eventually, someone did.
Lucille.
"What are you doing?" Lucille asked. "We're looking for information about the murders," Erela replied. "You're still worried about that? I don't believe it," Lucille said. "Why not?" Erela asked. "Only Benjamin heard it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he made it up to scare us," Lucille replied. "But what if it is true? Shouldn't we try to stop it?" Erela asked. "...Yes. But don't be paranoid," Lucille replied.
"It's true."
Everyone turned around. Benjamin was behind them.
"I know what I heard," he said. "What did they say? Tell me everything you remember," Erela said. "There were two of them. The first one said he was planning to kill people on Halloween. The second one suggested they bring a gun here. The first one agreed. Then they heard something...probably me...and ran away," Benjamin recalled. "Did they sound like they were being serious?" Erela asked. Benjamin nodded. "Is there any way someone else heard this?" Erela asked. "It was early. They weren't out," Benjamin replied. "I believe you," Erela said. "Then tell your parents to close the cemetery," Benjamin said. "I would, but...it's not that simple. I'm sorry. But I will do something," Erela promised.
"Everyone, listen to everything people say in here. I'm sure those two will come back. If anyone hears something suspicious, tell Erela immediately," Alex said. "We will. We'll all listen," Lucille said. "I'll do as much as I can," Erela said.
A/N: Wow another short chapter. I'm so bad at this. Writing every day is hard. I'll have a long one soon :) How do you like the story so far? And what do you believe?
