Everything was black, i felt nothing, i heard nothing, i saw nothing except black… i remember seeing someone walking up to me but nothing more, i should have brought more energon for my journey but that was the least of my worries right now. Suddenly my audio receptors picked a faint voice but it was to faint for me to hear and that's when my pain receptors came back online and i could feel someone poke me with a needle. Still i couldn't move and i blacked out again, this time i fell asleep into a void but i saw my father in the void with a disappointed look on his face. “You failed me Lilac, out of all the sparkling you were the one i chose… Now prepare to die…” He held up his gun at me and shot me, startled from my nightmare i opened my optics to see blurry objects but i could feel i was safe, safe where i didn’t know but i was. “Rest Lilac… you need it…” The voice was powerful and commanding yet worried and saddened but i wasn't able to tell who was speaking to me before i blacked out again. A second time i woke from my dreams and this time i could see much better, i was in someones quarters and there was a desk with some scrolls and datapads on it but nothing more. I tried to sit up and look around but a powerful arms kept me down, when i looked up i saw Megatron’s worried optics looking into mine but this felt like a dream. “Father?? Is that really you” i could see a smile slightly cross his face before it fell with worry. “Where were you Lilac? We have been searching for two years! I was so worried!” i was able to sit up slightly and see that my father had scars all over him from battles and fights. “The Autobots took me.. they told me you didn't care about me and left me with them… i was worried about you to father… i was worried for all the ship… Who rescued me?” My father’s worried expression changed into one of happiness and he gently hugged me and then let go. “Soundwave found you and rescued you… he also noticed you were holding onto a t-cog and when we did a scan,we noticed yours was removed so we repaired it for you.” I smiled and hugged my father again before laying down, i’ll thank Soundwave tomorrow when i am able to get out of berth… The next day i was able to walk around ship even though my father advised against it, i didn't find many changes in fact, i was still second in command and knockout was still our medic, unfortunately Breakdown had died and it broke my spark to hear this because i wouldn't have escaped the Autobot base without his lessons. That's when I found Soundwave in the rec room with another fembot, the sight of the two made my spark feel a twinge of… jealousy..? I don't know what i felt, all i know is that i wasn't happy, i got even more angry when i saw the femme hugged him. The anger and rage i felt wanted me to throw her off the ship but she was Knockout’s new assistant so i couldn't. “Sorry to interrupt but i need to talk with Soundwave a minute.” I looked at Soundwave as he jumped slightly from my voice but the bot just smiled at me, said sure then left. “What do you need Lilac?” i was drawn out of my thoughts by Megatron's voice but i knew it was Soundwave. “Who was that femme you were talking to? I know she is Knockout’s assistant but i don't know her name. Also thank you for saving me… i would be rusted scrap metal if it wasn't for you.” Soundwave just looked at me and nodded looking uncomfortable which made my spark break on sight. “Im Scarlet.” i sighed as Soundwave played a recording of the fembot who’s name is apparently Scarlet. I nodded and walked out of the rec room and to the medbay for repairs where Scarlet was. “Hi Scarlet, nice to see you again… Can you check my sand wounds?” Scarlet looked at me with a smile and a gleam to her red optics like something she liked just happened. “Of course Lilac anything! Also it's not like i have a choice, you are Megatron’s daughter…” i rolled my optics at the comment and sat down on a nearby berth as she got to work on my wounds, eventually curiosity got the better of me and my head started asking questions that i didn't say out loud. “So Scarlet what do you think of Soundwave? He a nice mech?” Scarlet looked up at me and her smile was so big i thought she had a glitch or something. “He is a kind mech, I really like him he told me a lot about the Nemesis and how things operate, it was nice.” “Did he actually use his voice or other bots voices?” I don't know why i asked, of course Soundwave used recordings and not his actual voice, i guess i was a bit concerned and jealous. “Well his actual voice, he even took off his face mask and everything!” I stared at her in shock tears starting to form on my optics, he used his real voice AND took off his face mask… My spark was in pieces to say the least and that's why i ran out of the medbay as soon as Scarlet was done. I continued running until i came up to Megatron’s training space on the flight deck, needing to punch something i began an intense training session and didn't stop even as the sun went down. “Lilac how long have you been here?” i stopped mid punch to turn around and see my father walking towards me a stern look on his face plates. “Since this morning father, i fell behind on my training and want to make up for lost time… Even if i am your daughter it doesn’t allow me to slake off because i was captured…” Also Soundwave has a new friend who he showed his real voice and face plates to, which he never does so i'm here pretending to punch her… I continued my punching again and again till i made my servos bleed like they were painted with energon. “Have you met Scarlet? She and Soundwave really hit it off, i’m happy he is so comfortable with her.” I felt my rage and anger from earlier build up and so did the strength of my punches until i broke the dummy. I thought these were not supposed to break anymore since the first time i broke one… My father walked over to me and put a servo on my shoulder plate giving me a look. “Ya i saw Scarlet, and Soundwave sitting in the rec room… It’s nice to see Soundwave comfortable around someone else other than me now…” His optics showed an expression i couldn't make out, but it looked like sadness and regret. “What's wrong Lilac?” A tear fell from my optics as i fell to floor and put my face plates on my knees crying. My father did not ask anymore questions but he did hug me trying to comfort me but it wasn't working. “Come on Lilac, let us go for a flight…” I wiped the tears out of my optics and nodded, then we started walking off the deck and flew away from the Nemesis. “Ok Lilac we are away from base, what’s wrong?” I sighed and landed on a mountain sighing as my father landed as well. “ Soundwave is more comfortable with Scarlet then me and it's not fair, i was the one who liked him since i took over leadership not Scarlet! Soundwave used his own voice near her and took off his face mask and and!!” My rage turned to sadness and i started crying again not caring if my father saw me. My father walked over and hugged me again a slight chuckle escaping his mouth. “What's so funny…?” I looked up at him wiping the tears away slightly angry at him for laughing. “I never get to see you cry and leave the tough can't be hurt soldier mentality behind… You look more vulnerable like this.” Vulnerable!? That's the word i didn't want to hear and he said it! I growled and wiped away the tears putting a stern look on my face. “I am not vulnerable! I am a soldier and heir to the Decepticon throne no one or thing can hurt me!” i dusted myself off as i stood up seeing my father's face plates fall to sad look. “Lilac, you don't have to hide your feelings, it's not a smart idea.” I growled and glared at him like he would understand what i am going through! “Ya like you understand SOO well!” i crossed my arms glaring at him but he didn’t move or change his expression a bit. “I do actually… Smokescreens mother Elita, i liked her before i became this… Warlord and before Orion Pax was taken from me…” i sighed not realizing that i could have been on sensitive memories. “I’m sorry father, i didn't mean to upset you… i just… i used to be close to Soundwave, in some weird way I considered him my best friend…” My father sighed putting a servo on my shoulder plate reassuringly and then we both transformed and flew back to the Nemesis, though Soundwave was nowhere to be found which was odd.
