Megatron's Daughter

Chapter 5

I barely dodged his sword as it swiped across my face leaving a deep scratch. Heavily breathing i did a double backflip over his charge and shot him in the back knocking him away from me. My internal clock told me i have survived longer than Soundwave and twice as long as Airachnid. “He is going easy on her!! Airachnid couldn’t get a hit in!!” I resisted the urge to turn around to see who said that and barely dodged Megatron’s blast from his gun. I looked at him as i dodged and saw that he was exhausted, he wasn't going easy on me… was he? Jumping over another blast i shot at him again, i have now lasted an hour longer than Soundwave… maybe i can survive this thing… That was my mistake to make, the next thing i know i am lying on the floor pain coming from my chest and spreading through my whole body and finally to my head. Everything went dark and my senses only picked up the laughter and yelling “Told you she was terrible!! Hahaha!!!” “SILENCE!! Everyone return to your quarters now!!! Knockout get your worthless scrap metal here!” Then everything was quiet and i was picked up and set on a berth. “She will live my liege don’t worry.” the pain in my chest got worse and worse with each passing minute but i couldn’t scream. “She is stable my Lord… I recommend her staying here overnight though so we can keep an eye on her.” “Fine knockout just make sure she doesn’t die or it will be your spark!” I could hear him stomp out of the room and the medbay door close. “Can you believe that sparkling thinking she is better than me?! Please!!” i opened my eyes slightly to see Airachnid and Starscream speaking with each other. “I am afraid our Lord Megatron has gone soft since he adopted that wretched sparkling. We must do something about it.” i suddenly closed my eyes and listened into the rest of the plan. “I say we get rid of the sparkling and say an insecticon did it.” “No Airachnid… we must kill Megatron… I will be leader and you will be second in command…” I shivered at the thought of Starscream killing Megatron in cold blood. “Alright Starscream you got a deal… We’ll talk about this later though.” “Agreed… get well soon Airachnid…” Starscream left and Airachnid did as well later leaving me to recover in peace. After months of recovering i finally felt well enough to resume training but Knockout had other thoughts… “You are still healing give it time!” i turned around and glared at him crossing my arms “I took plenty of time getting adopted… i will not fall behind on my training and wait for that to!” For a split minute i saw guilt and anger flash across his face before it disappeared “Alright see if i care.” i rolled my eyes walking out of the medbay and straight into Megatron “Sir! I am so sorry I didn't see you there!” i stood at attention waiting for him to growl at me or comment on how i should have been paying better attention but he just hugged me. I smiled and wiped a tear of energon away from my eye before he saw and let me go. “What are you going to in such a rush my daughter?” i looked at him and felt myself shrink under his powerful gaze. “I… training is in a few  minutes and i thought i am far enough behind so i should probably join my group…” He clearly didn't like that idea and glared at me crossing his arms. “Your training with your group has been canceled… You will now train with me everyday after i finish work… While i am gone you will read scrolls about our history and Cybertron.” His eyes kept me from argueing or trying to fight because they should alot of anger, fear, and regret. “Yes sir… If that is your wish.” I stood at attention waiting for him to dismiss me but he just got a sad look on his face. “Lilac when it is just you and i, you can call me father…” I smiled slightly at that because it made me feel more important than the other crew members. “Yes father…” I bowed then headed to my quarters which where right besides Megatron’s just incase i tried to run away or needed anything.
