Turning the key, Beca kicked the door open dropping her bag along with her shoes near the door.
"Beca?" Her girlfriend called.
Chloe, Emily and Ally were standing right in front of the kitchen's door.
"Yeah babe?" She replied taking off her leather jacket without turning around.
The second the brunette producer turned around a brown figure tackled her to the ground.
"WHAT THE FUCK."
A dog the size of the small producer was on top of her wiggling it's tail, Beca stared at her friends with wide eyes waiting for an explanation.
"Okay buddy, stop." She said pushing the dog away. "What's this?"
The girls looked at each other with a smile.
"it's ours?" Beca asked on disbelief.
The three women nodded.
Without a word, Beca got up and made her way to her room, shutting the door behind her.
"What?" Emily asked looking at Ally. "Didn't you say a dog would help?"
Ally couldn't find the words. "Uh well yeah, I thought."
Meanwhile in the room, the small brunette was laying in the bed with her eyes closed. Breathing in, breathing out.
Three knocks interrupted her thoughts.
"Yeah?"
Her favorite girl opened the door of the dark room, letting the white light of the hallway illuminate a bit of the room.
"Hey stranger." She said standing against the door frame. The red head was still on her scrubs.
Beca shifted to a side, looking at her girlfriend. "Come here."
The red head didn't hesitate and immediately snuggled next to her girlfriend, sliding her arms around her.
"Tell me about your day." Beca said placing a kiss on Chloe's forehead.
Sighing, she replied. "Well, med school makes me want to cry and never touch a human body again or be close to one-"
"You can leave whenever you want, I'm not forcing you to stay with me." The brunette joked.
Chloe playfully slapped her girlfriend's arm and tried to get up and leave the bed only to be pushed down again by Beca.
"You better not leave, Beale."
Chloe laughed at her girlfriend. "Asshole."
The couple stayed a while enjoying each other in silence. The peaceful ambient was what they needed, for their luck, a sudden bark shook them out of their peaceful state.
Beca breathed out loudly. "Who brought the dog?"
Chloe shifted her weight to her elbow. "We did."
The brunette hummed in response.
"Why?" Chloe asked.
"It's your dog, I don't know. I just hope you all take charge of the animal." Beca shrugged nonchalantly. "I don't know what went through your minds."
They did this for Beca, why was she so against the idea of having a dog? That was making Chloe's blood boil. "Excuse me you like dogs, what's wrong with this one?"
Beca sat straight on the mattress looking at the silhouette of her girlfriend in the dark. "The fact that the three of you made a decision of this magnitude without including me?"
