"Wait, can you smell that?"

"Oh my gosh! Hyunjin, the eggs are burning!"

"Shoot! I totally forgot about them" Hyunjin sprinted to the stove where two eggs were busy sizzling away. Seungmin knew they shouldn't have turned the heat level up to high, yet they did it anyways.

Hyunjin speedily turned the notch to 'off' and put the burning hot pan onto a cooling tray that was cleverly put beside the stove.

"You wouldn't mind your egg being a bit burnt, would you?" He giggled at the question.

"No, not at all," Seungmin retaliated and laughed along with Hyunjin, "it's a bit too late to go back now"

While the eggs cooled, Seungmin scooped out big piles of rice into two seperate granite bowls that were frozen to the touch; perfect for chilling the food down. He then layered the mushrooms in a small c-shape, that would later be completed to make a full spherical shape after setting down the other vegetables.

He passed the cold bowls to Hyunjin soundlessly, so he was able to neatly layer his own cut-up food to the concoction. Seungmin thought it was time to finally check up on the eggs, as they had stopped sizzling after a while. He grabbed the spatula and attempted to scrape the hard eggs off of the pan they were strongly attached to. It was a difficult task, to say the least.

"I'm done. Have you been able to get the eggs off yet" Hyunjin questioned when he witnessed Seungmin vigorously grinding his spatula against the supposed non-stick pan. (Hyunjin needed to remind himself to give a bad review on the product. He was never doing home shopping again.)

"I'm still trying to do that" he grimaced.

After a while, Seungmin was able to seperate the burnt eggs from the horrid pan and drop one egg each into the two bowls Hyunjin held out.

"It took you long enough..." Hyunjin joked.

Seungmin squinted his eyes at Hyunjin and made a small 'hmph' sound in retaliation.

If that wasn't cute, Hyunjin didn't know what was anymore.

"Mmmm, dhis ij meawwy wood!" Seungmin complimented with a mouthful of half-chewed food.

"Uhh, what?"

"I said that this is really good" he repeated only after fluidly chewing down his food and swallowing it completely.

"Oh, yeah, I agree! Probably because you helped, it tastes better than it did last time I made it"

Seungmin tried to not take that compliment too deep to the heart. After all, it was only a simple comment, with not much meaning meant. He was too weak for all the mushy stuff Hyunjin kept spewing.

"Do you know which level you live on?" Hyunjin spoke, trying to bring up a topic to provoke conversation to occur.

"Yeah, I'm on level 6; apartment number 12D"

"Will you need anymore help moving stuff around? I can come down if you need anything; just text or call me"

"Thanks for the offer, but I think everything should already be moved away. And also, I don't have your number..." Seungmin's voice lowered in volume as he shyly spoke his last statement. Basically, he was indirectly asking for Hyunjin's number.
