This was seriously going to be one long day.

"You have to at least try and block my attempts!"

"I'm trying!" Hyunjin breathed erratically and let his hands rest on the tops of his thighs as he crouched down catching his breath, "You're just too good at this"

It was only a matter of days now until their mission needed to be carried out. It was necessary that their team of eight (nine if you include Woojin's occasional advice) were to train diligently in the meantime as they waited for the day to come. Without defending and attacking practice, they were sure to fail the task at hand. It was a bit like studying for an exam, except this was much more physically and mentally tiring.

"Alright, let's take a quick break since you so desperately need one" Seungmin sarcastically tsked, strutting away to the elevated benches that were situated on the edge of the training centre they were using. Conveniently, this was an agent-only facility meaning that they weren't going to be disrupted by random citizens of the public who simply wanted to work out.

He seated himself lightly on the bottom bench (rather than the top ones he really wanted to go to) since he wasn't going to waste 80% of his limited energy by painfully climbing over several metal benches. The bottom one would do fine anyways.

Taking the bottled water from beside him, the boy popped the reusable cap off and took a few big gulps of his refreshing drink.

Hyunjin stalked the younger's movements like a snake and couldn't help but feel the slightest bit guilty for staring at the other without notice. Although, when he witnessed Seungmin gulp down his drink with fervour, the elder's previously guilty thoughts bloomed into thankful ones as he saw the other's Adam's apple bob up and down with every swallow.

The way Seungmin tilted his head towards the clouds above gave Hyunjin the perfect side profile of the younger's significant features. Everything was too beautiful to handle.

Snapping out of his short daze about Seungmin (that almost went a little too far), he blinked his eyes to get rid of the thoughts and took up enough courage to 'man up' and sit directly next to his partner.

Gratefully, Seungmin had only just finished gulping basically all of his cold water, meaning he most likely didn't notice the other male's confliction with himself.

"I'm sorry if I came off as harsh before, but it's only so I can somehow push you to the level you need to be at. Your weakness right now is that you struggle with defending yourself properly; and if that isn't fixed by Thursday, there's going to be a lot of problems coming our way" he explained to Hyunjin in a calm manner.

"You don't need to apologise; I know that what you're doing is for my own benefit. It's just," he sighed quietly before continuing, "I feel kinda stressed for this mission. The fact that I'm going to be fired from my job if this task doesn't go well keeps repeating in my mind, and it seriously doesn't help me when I'm in the midst of practicing. I don't know what I'm gonna do with my life if I lose this job. Why does everything have to be so difficult?"

Seungmin truly felt for the other. Everyone had their own problems they were dealing with and Hyunjin was just another innocent person that had been facing their biggest turmoils.

"I know that you've probably got it the hardest in this business, but you shouldn't let those thoughts get to the best of you. I can simply tell that you have great potential; it's just that you're allowing the pessimistic stuff to overtake your true ability. From what I've seen so far, you're an amazing person that has the skills to be a good field agent. Although we barely know each other, I have a pretty reliable power to judge who absolutely deserves to stay in this workforce, and you're one of those people that are entitled to that list," he took a quick break before continuing, "and remember, I'm always gonna be here to help you. If I really thought you weren't worthy of being here, don't you think I would've left by now? Believe in yourself a bit more coz you're more worthy than you think"
