Chapter 1

I'm Jade Parker. This is my last year in school. I hate school just like every normal teenager but i dont want to end up working in some fast food restaurant so yeah . I live with my mother and my sister Carla 14 years old .My dad had died when i was 5 , it hurts at some point in life knowing that you don't have a dad who would've be teaching you important things in life or even give you a simple advice . But my mom did a great job taking care of both, me and Carla. That's why I thank god for having such an amazing mom.

Ever since I was a kid, my mom taught me to stand my ground, not to give up and also not to depend on someone for my happiness. Usually , I'm careful with my decisions. I take my time choosing my friends and almost everyone in my life, and that's what I thought when I chose to be with my boyfriend, Dan. I met him one day when I was sitting on the bleachers waiting for Nina. He came and sat beside me.

"hey" he smiled, his green eyes shinning with the sun rays reflecting lightly on his face.

"hey" I shyly smiled.

"do you want something?" I asked him, trying not to sound rude.

"well, I was walking by and then I saw you sitting by yourself and I thought why not sit with a beautiful girl like you and show her my charming self" he chuckled beside me and I smiled and rolled my eyes at how cheesy he sounded.

"aren't you the most humble person around ?" he laughed and i fell in love with it. it was so beautiful I think I looked creepy ogling his face. and that's how it all started.

I wish I could go back in time and look at things differently, but I can't.

I hear my alarm goes off . I slowly open my eyes then take my phone and look at the clock , it's 6:30 am .

"I just need five minutes" I say to myself and close my eyes, and before I had the chance to close my eyes I hear door swings open and my mom steppes in my room.

"Jade sweetie wake up , and don't make me repeat my words" she pointed

I groan angrily but thank God she didn't hear it .

"Come on , hurry up Jade" Her voice is far now it means she is out of my room now .

"okay okay i'm getting up".

I slowly get up ,I start walking to the bathroom then I step in and look at my reflection in the mirror . I look like dead people . My long brown hair is a mess , my skin is pale , my eyes are puffy from sleeping . Not a surprise ! I look like this every damn morning.

I take a quick shower then I put on a black skinny jeans and a blue cardigan and some black toms . I brush my teeth and then brush my hair . It is 7 a.m now, I have to hurry up .

When I go down stairs I see mom making breakfast and Carla is already eating .

"Morning" I smile and sit down next to my sister. Carla smiles back at me and says "morning Jade" .

"Morning sweetie" my mom looks at me and smiles.

"I should go now , Dan is waiting for me " I say while taking my bag .

"Ok honey, bye " mom says loudly so I can hear her.

"Bye" I say while stepping out of the house and closing the door .

I see Dan's car in front of our garden I smile and walk to the car .

"Hey beautiful" His cute dimples are showing .

"Hi" I smile back at him and leane closer to his face kiss his cheek .

"we should go to school now , we don't wanna be late"

he winked at me. I chukle and nod.
