Just A Trip

On my way to the classroom this morning, Matt joins me:"Hi there, Taylor. How are things going? Still emo?" I give him the 'are you serious' look and he assures me that it was just a joke. I didn't even take it seriously in the first place. "I'm good, what about you?" I answer and he sighs:"Ugh, English is our first class today and I hate it." I love talking to him. I love how casual our conversations are, even though I'm going crazy inside. But he talks to many girls, so I don't know about his feelings. I smile because English is one of my favorite subjects and say:"I don't really mind that..." He then sighs again:"Well, you're good at it and I suck, so here's a pretty good explaination for our relationships with that subject." "Matt, come here!" our classmate Gary calls him. Matt pats my backpack before walking over to Gary:"See ya later!" Oh my gosh he is always so cute and nice.

I continue the path through the noisy hallways on my own quickly, because I don't want my annoying classmates Alison and Petra to catch up on me. Not really interested in their childish stories about how Alison chased Petra through the hallway, because she wanted to tickle her.

As I get closer to our classroom I notice that the A class is having Geography next to our classroom. That's so awesome! I'll get to talk to my friends every time! They are all waiting outside and I greet them. "Is it true that Kellin came to your class?" May asks and I roll my eyes:"Ugh, yeah...sadly that's true...how are the things going in your class?" Kathy shrugs:"Not much has changed, really." We have a short talk after that and then I take a few steps towards my classroom. But when I pass the A class' guys, I feel something under my feet. Everything becomes slow motion. I'm falling. Before I can even do something I'm already on the floor. Someone tripped me and now all I can hear is laughing. I look around and I need some time to even process the whole thing. "Way to go Rick!" I hear Andy say, high-fiving the new guy Rick. He's so stupid ugh. "Are you alright?" Nellie runs up to me when she sees what just happened and offers me her hand. I take it and dust myself off:"Yeah, I'm cool I guess. Thanks." She turns around to Rick and says:"You're pretty stupid you know?" Rick just laughs:"So fucking what? So is she." Nellie walks me to my classroom and I thank her:"Hey, thanks for that. Is he always like this?" Nellie glances at him:"No problem. But no, I guess he just wanted to show off a bit in front of the new classmates. Don't worry about him, I'm sure he won't do that again."

Well yeah, I sure hope so. Maybe she is right tho...maybe it was really just a stupid joke. Boys can be a little weird sometimes. Besides, he only tripped me, which is not even that big of a deal. At least I see why almost no girl is friends with him.

When I'm waiting outside the classroom before our last class, I'm talking to Maddison. I anyways only talk to her, Melanie, Leiah and Hayley. I also talk to Gary, Matt, Paul, Berth and Marlon sometimes. That's it. Those are the only people from my class that I sometimes socialize with.

To be hurt, to feel lost, to be left out in the dark,
To be kicked, when you're down, to feel like you've been pushed around,
To be on the edge of breaking down and no one's there to save you.
No, you don't know what it's like,
Welcome to my life.
