Chapter 34: Rematch

*Third Person POV*

Eyes and heads and ears turned to the sky in Menagerie, as Grimm Giratina flew over the town. He circled the town, and seemed to spy his target, beginning his descent.

He landed in the center of town, transforming into his human form. He looked around, and spotted a head of black hair running through the crowd towards him.

"Y/n?"

Blake came out of the crowd, beginning to run up to Grimm Giratina, her arms open. He pulled his sword and began to slash, as another person came out of the crowd and tackled Blake out of the way.

"Darkrai?" Blake asked, "What's going on?"

"I don't know," Darkrai said, "But that's not Y/n."

"Dammit," Grimm Giratina grumbled, "I missed."

"Who are you!?" Darkrai yelled.

Grimm Giratina stabbed his sword into the ground, and looked Darkrai in the eyes.

"Hmm. You are nothing compared to the one I fought before. You'll die quickly."

He stepped away from his sword and began to walk closer to Darkrai, opening his mouth and charging up a ball of red energy. It shot out in a beam of red energy, and Darkrai was barely able to dodge.

"What!?" Darkrai exclaimed, "That's a Dragon Pulse!"

"Fool, you know not the extent of my power."

Grimm Giratina teleported to behind Darkrai, and jumped into the air, reeling his fist back and punching. Darkrai blocked the attack, and brought out his sword. He stabbed at Grimm Giratina, who just grabbed the sword and threw it into a building, Darkrai attached.

Darkrai crashed through the shops window, landing on a pile of fruits.

"Damn," Darkrai groaned, "He hits as hard as... Dad."

Darkrai watched Grimm Giratina, as he slowly began walking closer. Grimm Giratina prepared a Dragon Pulse, aiming for Darkrai. He was about to fire, when a familiar roar caught his attention. He turned his eyes to the sky, as Giratina, in his altered form, began to fly circles around the town.

Grimm Giratina growled, "Finally. My real challenger."

He began to transform, and flew into the sky, surging towards Giratina, who fired a Dragon Pulse at him.

While he was focused on him, he failed to notice Yang and the Lake Guardians, who used their abilities to just float down to the ground. Yang ran up to Blake and led her away, while the Lake Guardians went to Darkrai.

"Lake Guardians?" Darkrai asked, "Why are you here?"

"We were kidnapped." Azelf explained.

"Our powers were used to create Grimm Giratina." Uxie answered.

"Grimm Giratina, is that what he's called?"

"Correct," Mesprit said, "Now let's go. We must do our part to defeat him."

They picked him up, and walked off, to find a way to help Y/n fight.

Meanwhile in the sky, Giratina and Grimm clashed, biting and clawing and stabbing. Giratina aimed a Dragon Pulse at Grimm, who blocked it with his own.

The twin dragons charged at each other, and Giratina bit down on Grimm's neck, and ripped off a chunk. Grimm let out an ear-piercing screech, feeling a chunk of his neck getting ripped off. Black blood poured from the wound, and he fell backwards, crashing into Menagerie.
