After our little encounter, the rest of the day went by pretty well and fast. I don't know whether it was the day passing by fast or me being excited for tonight. It was not that big of a deal but it would be like our first official date too. If you would have told me two months earlier that I would be going out with Yuvaan let lone be his girlfriend I would've snapped a sassy comeback or laughed at your face. But here I am, dying to go home so I could complete my work and get ready for tonight.
I didn't bring my car today so I needed a ride back. I came with Aditya and Alisha but Alisha was already gone as she had to pick her cousin up and I have no clue as to where Aditya was. I was hoping Yuvaan would drop me. My phone suddenly lit up. I had a message from Yuvaan, immediately my lips turn into a wide smile.
Yuvaan : Hey there Wildcat! Is tonight still on?
Inaaya: Yes it is.
Yuvaan : Good. I'll pick you up at around 8 eh? If that's fine by you.
Inaaya : Yes sure.
Yuvaan : Cool. See you soon.
Inaaya : I was actually hoping that you could drop me home, I don't have a ride back and would have taken the bus but I would have to wait for a long time.
Yuvaan : I'm so sorry babe, I'm at practice. I would've if the coach wasn't busting my ass at the practice.
Inaaya : No issues, I'll ask Aditya.
Yuvaan : Okay. Gotta go for now, talk to you later. Until then keep thinking about me ( ͡ _ ͡°)
Inaaya : You wish. Bye.
I smiled like an idiot and then called Aditya as he was my last hope. He picked up right after two rings.
"Hey, what's up? " He asked.
"I called to ask you a favour, I need a ride home. Could you drop me? " I asked as I walked towards the benches.
"Sure, I was about to leave. Where are you? " He enquired
"I'm at the main gate" I said sitting down and empty bench right near the main gate.
"See you in five" He said and hung up.
Aditya arrived in exactly five minutes and I got in the car. We immediately got invested in talking about random things. That's the thing about our friendship, we talk about the most random shit at the most random times. He's like a brother to me. I love him and Alisha so much. They were there for me right from the day I joined here.
I was too shy to talk to anyone. I hated the thought of changing colleges as that meant I had to talk to new people, make new friends. I was a introvert. But when they asked me if the seat beside me was taken in the cafeteria that day I don't know these two would become the constants in my life. The constants I would never wanna lose at any cost.
