Collide (Nash Grier)

Chapter Six

We pulled up to the movie theater. There weren't many cars here. "Alright Dallas, tell me your plan."

"Well, if you go to an old movie that everybody has already seen, nobody will show up."

He smiled at me, "I know the perfect movie," he said grabbing my hand and running into the theater.

So apparently Nash hasn't seen The Fault in Our Stars, so I decided that we'd see that. I never told him that I haven't either. I guess I never had a reason to see it. I'm going to cry so much.

"I can't believe he died! Why him?! They were supposed to be together! Forever! Okay?" Nash shouted in the parking lot.

"Okay," I whispered to him, quoting the movie.

He smiled at me when I said that. "Let's go somewhere else!"

I yawned, "Somewhere where I can lay down?"

"Of course my dear!" he said sarcastically grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers as we walked to the car.

The drive took forever. We drove for forty five minutes. What was running through this boys mind. I opened my door to the smell of an ocean breeze. He came up next to me with a blanket in his hand. "What are you doing?"

"We are going star gazing on the beach!" he said grabbing my hand and leading me to the cool sand.

He put the blanket down and we both laid there. We talked for what seemed like forever, and then I remember slowly falling asleep in his arms.

I heard waves crashing as my eyes fluttered open. I jumped up, and woke Nash. "Rae! What's wrong!?"

"We fell asleep here! Cam is going to kill me! What do I say when he asks!? What do I do!? I can't believe I fell asleep here!" I said pacing back and forth.

"Rae!" Nash shouted stopping me by holding onto my shoulders. "I called Cam last night! It's okay!" he said laughing at me panicking. I sighed in relief. "So, do you like Starbucks?"

"Who doesn't!?" I said running to the car. We jammed out to Classic by MKTO. Then pulled into the parking lot.

I wasn't in the mood for coffee, so I just got a hot chocolate. Nash did the same. We sat there drinking our hot chocolate, then Nash perked up.

"What is it Nashy!? Did Cam fall into the well!?"

"No!" we both laughed. "Wanna play a game?"

"What game?" I asked intrigued.

"Hide and seek?"

"What?"

"We hide, and the fans seek."

I smiled then nodded. He pulled out his phone and started to type.

'@nashgrier: All you fans in the Newport area, come find @HeyItsRae and I in the place where magic is made with beans!😊'

I laughed at my phone, "Where magic is made with beans?"

"This stuff is magic! It's the only thing that can wake me up!"

"You do have a point there!" I laughed taking a sip.

"Well, looks like we have been found!" Nash said pointing out the window to give girls running to the door. They searched all around until they spotted us. They came running over. They looked to be about fourteen.

"OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT WE ACTUALLY FOUND YOU GUYS! WE LOVE BOTH OF YOU!" they all shouted. We both laughed and got up to take pictures with them. They were so cute. More fans came, and we had to go once the place was full.

We finally decided to drive home. I was so tired. That was the best date ever though. Every time I look at Nash now, I smile. I like that.

*Nash's P.O.V*

We pulled up to the house and I turned to see Rae sleeping. She looked so peaceful. Cam came walking out the door. I got out of the car.

"Hey man! How was the date!?" he said wiggling his eyebrows.

"Cam! We didn't do anything like that!" Rae shouted standing behind us. My cheeks got red, but so did hers.

"What!? Who would just assume that!?" he said sarcastically messing with her hair.

"I'm going to take a nap. I expect food when I wake up," she said to Cam. Then she turned to me, "I had fun last night," she said smiling. I wanted to kiss her right there, but I knew Cam was standing there, and she is taken...

*Rae's P.O.V*

I went in the house for a shower. I needed one.

After my shower I checked my phone. So many messages. 101 from Macy. 56 from Paige. 29 from Cam. 3 from Mom. Then I was invited to a group chat with Cam and Nash, then ten other unknown numbers. That had 268 messages. Nothing from Logan though.

Twitter blew up with rumors that Nash and I are dating. The ship name is Nae. Nash and Rae. I like that better than Lae. Logan and Rae. The top trend is actually #NaeOverLae. Thanks fans. I mean I love the fact that I'm a top trend, but I'm not really proud of what it's about. What's Logan going to think? What's Cam going to think? What's Nash going to think?
