"Hi Rae! I'm glad that I finally get to meet you." Bart Bordelon. The man who took money right out of my brother's and boyfriend's pocket. How can he move in right across the street from me? Why? What did I do to deserve this? This can't be happening. Brett and I could have actually been friends, but that's probably not going to happen now that his dad is a fucking thief.

I was still standing in front of him. He was sticking out his hand for me to shake it. I shook his hand, not saying a word. I looked back at Brett. "I gotta go. Bye." I turned around, opened the door, stepped in, and shut it as quickly as possible. I'm pissed. I need to hit.

I already had on shorts, t-shirt, and nike shoes. I just need my bat. In my backyard I have a cage to hit in, and it has a machine that will pitch it to me without needing another person's help. I grabbed my bat from my bag and walked outside. I plugged my iPod into the speakers. I played my gameday playlist. It gets me pumped, mad, hype. Everything I need for a game, but I needed it now.

It was three in the afternoon. We just finished our shoot. The shoot was about ten minutes away from Rae's town. I decided why not and go say hi to her. I just need her to think that I'm going to do something to her that involves YouTube so she won't expect me coming. I had Hayes with me, Cam had to go back to L.A. for something that I didn't care about. I was stuck driving because Hayes is still a little baby who doesn't have his license.

As we got closer to her house, there were a bunch of move in trucks on the side of the road. I guess she's getting new neighbors. We pulled into her driveway and got out of my car. She's getting new neighbors across the street. There was a kid about our age, that looked familiar, moving boxes, but I didn't know how I would know him. Whatever.

"She must be in the backyard," Hayes said. Obviously because there is music blaring from behind her house.

Hayes went running ahead of me, and my phone vibrated. I stopped to check to see what it was.

Unknown Number: Hey babe 😉 We should hang out tonight 😏

I ignored it, whatever, it's probably just one of my friends joking around. I deleted the message just in case Rae saw it. I wouldn't want her to think that I might cheat on her. I would never do that to her, she's the only one I need.

I walked back to hear Hayes and Rae screaming at eachother in excitement. Rae was facing away from me. So I snuck up behind her. I covered her eyes, "Guess who?"

"Santa Clause? Is that you?" she asked then turned around.

"Dang I missed you."

She giggled, "It's only been a day Nash."

"I know, but it's been too long," I said giving her a little kiss. "So what exactly are you doing out here with your music blaring?"

"Oh." Her mood changed from happy to anger. "Well, I assume you saw the trucks across the street?" I nodded. She shook her head. "You just gotta see it to believe it," she said grabbed Hayes's and my's hands.

We ran to the front and across the street to the new neighbors house. The trucks were gone. She went up and knocked on the door. The teenage guy that I saw earlier answered. "Hey Rae, is everything alright? You kind of left quickly when you met my dad."

"That's why I'm here, I need to see your dad."

"Um, okay," he said giving us a weird look, "Dad!"

No fucking way. "Hi Mr. Bart Bordelon!" Rae said emphasizing his name, "I'm sorry that I left earlier, I wasn't feeling too good, luckily I was just over heated." Hayes and I were in pure shock.

"Oh that's fine, I hope you're feeling better," he said not noticing Hayes and me behind her, "Who are your friends?"

I came up and held Rae's hand. "Hi Bart."

"Nash! Hayes! It's been a while since I've seen you boys."

"Oh sure it has!" Hayes said sarcastically flailing his arms.

"I think we should go," Rae said, "Sorry about earlier, it was nice meeting you Bart! See you later Brett!" The kid nodded at Rae as we left.

There's no way I'm letting my girl live next to that monster of a man. There is just no fucking way that's happening. We got back to her house and gathered around the island in the kitchen. My arms were crossed. I'm beyond pissed.

"I should probably give you two some time to talk," Hayes said going into the living room and turning on the TV.

We didn't speak for about a minute, just stood there in silence. "Listen I can tell that your mad, but I can't do anything about it," she said, "Its not like I'm going to leave just because I have one shitty neighbor."

"Rae he stole from me and Hayes!" I said looking up at her. I'm going to start ranting, here we go, "And don't forget, he stole from your own brother! I know that you can't do anything about it, I'm just pissed that out off all the people in this world, it had to be him. It's unfair that that thief gets to live right across the street from you when I'm an hour away. He always wins. It really makes me mad that when it comes down to the thing I care about most, he still gets it!"

A tear fell down her cheek, but she was smiling. She jumped in my arms for a hug. "I love you," I said into her neck.

"I love you too," she said leaning her head back, then kissed me. She's perfect.

*Hayes's P.O.V*

Damn my brother is smooth.

*Rae's P.O.V*

I never thought that someone could care about me so much, that their jealous of their own enemy. "Nash?" I asked.

"Hm?"

"Can you do me a favor?"

"Anything."

I took a deep breath, "Please don't tell Cam."
