I stayed in Cameron's room for the rest of that day. Rae left with her stupid little boyfriend. That lucky ass who gets to call her, his. I would do anything to be able to do that. Calling Rae mine is impossible though. I'm not good enough for her, and I never will be.

********************************************

It was eight o'clock when the door opened. I looked up to see a smiling Rae. At least she's happy. "Hey."

"Hey Nash! Sorry I left you today. I never got to thank you for taking care of me."

"You don't need to thank me."

"Yes I do, not many people would take care of me like that," she said looking down.

"I doubt your boyfriend would," I mumbled. I think she heard me. She looked up at me with sad eyes.

"So," she said wiping her eye, "what was it you wanted to tell me earlier?"

"Oh, um," I started, what do I say? "I was just going to tell you that Cameron went out, and wouldn't be back until later."

"Where did he go?" she asked, looking sort of, disappointed. I shrugged my shoulders. "Oh well, I bet that he'll be back soon." I nodded.

"Do-" she started, "Do you want to go get some ice cream? I've been craving it ever since I woke up earlier."

I looked up at her. "I would love to." She smiled at my words. We decided to walk. The ice cream shop wasn't that far from the house. We walked out the door to the warm night.

"So, what did you do today?" she asked.

"Not much. Made a youtube video and tweeted some fans."

"What's the youtube video about?" she asked excited.

"Just an Ask Nash," I said, she looked down, "there was a question about you."

"What was the question!?" she asked jumping up and down. We both laughed.

"I can't tell you."

"What?! Why not!?"

"Because I need your view," I said poking her nose. She couldn't stop smiling.

*Rae's P.O.V*

I don't know why but Nash always seems to make me smile. I wish Logan could do that. Wait, what am I saying? I've been acting weird lately. "What's wrong?" Nash asked.

"What? Nothing," I said.

"Rae, you're bullshitting me right now. Tell me what's wrong. You can tell me anything."

He was looking in my eyes. I know that I can tell him anything, but should I tell him? I'll just say a part of what I'm thinking. "Logan acted so different today. It's like he became a totally different person. He doesn't make me smile as much anymore," I paused, "It feels like you do more than him."

Nash looked like he was hiding something behind his face after I said that. "That's weird, maybe you should talk to him about it."

That wasn't what I expected him to say. A part of me wanted Nash to like me. A part of me wanted me to like Nash. "Oh, um, yeah, I guess."

Nash's phone started to ring.

"Hello? Skylynn why are you still up? I can't tuck you in. Because I'm in California. How about in three days I will? Yes, I pinky promise. We can't connect our pinkies Sky. Because I'm still in California," Nash said into the phone. I started laughing at that last part. He glared then smiled at me.
