"Rae's P.O.V"

I guess you could say that Nash doesn't want anything to do with me. I mean I gave him a hint, and he totally changed the subject. I guess this is the world telling me that I really should be with Logan. Nash and I were almost home. We were just talking. His phone dinged.

He looked at it and rolled his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"That stupid girl from the scrimmage keeps texting me. She is so annoying. She keeps telling me to hurt you so bad that you can never play softball again. She's a psycho."

"What? I thought you liked that girl."

"She's cute and all, but not my type," he said looking down, "there's another girl that I really like."

"Oh, where's she from?"

"California," he said putting his hands in his pockets.

"Does she live near you?"

"For now, but once we move to L.A. I'm not sure how it'll all work out," he said looking down.

"How far away will she be from you?" I asked.

"About an hour. Two if there's traffic."

"Oh, that's sad," I said pulling his hand out of his pocket and interlocking our fingers. He looked down, and his face lit up. Our touch felt perfect. My hand fit perfectly in his.

"Yeah, it will be," he said looking down at me.

"Hey! Wanna have some fun?" I asked jumping up and down.

"What kind of fun?!" he asked jumping mocking me.

"Logan lives on that corner house, wanna scare him!?"

"Sure!" he said with what looked like mixed emotions. He's probably still sad about this girl he likes. I wonder who she is. I'll find that out some other time.

We snuck up to Logan's window, I saw the light on. We were under the window. I could hear some music, but that's all. Nash counted down, "Three... Two... One!" We both jumped up, but after seconds, my eyes became blurry.
