Chapter Thirty-Five

*Rae's P.O.V*

I woke up to some birds chirping. I looked around and saw Nash by my side. We must have fallen asleep. Oh well. Nash woke up to me moving around.

"Well good morning," he said stretching his arms.

"I'm hungry!" I said smiling and getting up to go inside. I pushed on the handle. The door wouldn't budge.

"Rae," Nash said, "It's pull."

"Oh," I felt my cheeks get red, "my bad!" I pulled on the handle. What the heck? "Nash your door isn't working!"

"What?" He asked confused coming over and pulling on the door.

"Did we get locked out?" I asked.

Nash sighed, "Cam probably locked it last night thinking that we were in my room."

"Of course it was Cam!" I said, "I'm hungryyyy." Nash laughed at me. "Hey this is a big deal!"

"Why don't we go to Starbucks!" Nash said.

"How? We can't get anywhere."

"I meant once we're free." I nodded then looked at the lock, I bet a bobby pin could open it. I pulled one out of my hair and put it in the key hole. "Rae, you're not going to get it, it's a new door, so it's a new lock."

"I've unlocked more difficult things than this."

"I doubt you'll get it."

"If I do, you're paying for Starbucks."

"And if you don't, you're paying for Starbucks," he said. After a few second of clarifying that, the door clicked and it opened.

Nash's mouth dropped, "Looks like you're paying for Starbucks," I said smiling then walking inside to get changed.

*1 hour later*

We walked into the wonderful magical place they call Starbucks. Yassssssss. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato, and Nash got hot chocolate. We were about to leave when Nash's name was called from the store. I didn't recognize the voice, but Nash did. I turned to see a boy our age. He looked so familiar. Was in Scott? Stan? Shane?

"Oh my gosh bro!" Nash said hugging the tall guy. He had a guitar. Gosh I know his name, what is it!? "Rae, this is Shawn Mendes. He was a part of Magcon, he's an amazing singer." Shawn! That's his name!

"Dude, I'm not amazing."

"Yeah you are man! You already have a song out and three more coming soon!"

"Whatever man," he said laughing, "And wow, I've wanted to meet you ever since your first vine. You're probably the funniest person I know." He said shaking my hand.

"You really are a good singer, I've heard you on the radio before, I really like your song."

"Thanks, that means a lot," he said.

"So how long are you in town?" Nash asked.

"Only a week," he said.

"Oh, we're definitely hanging out," Nash said. Shawn nodded.

"How about tonight, Cam said that a bunch of your friends are in town, and you want me to get to know all of them."

Nash smiled, "Party at our place, I'll text the group in a bit for the time. The only person who won't be there will be Matt, but he's with his girlfriend."

"I'll get him to come, and he should bring her."

"Yes he should!" I said, Shawn looked confused.

"Matt's girlfriend is Rae's best friend," Nash said.

"Oh, well then the chances will be higher for them to come!" Shawn said getting excited.

"Okay, we need to go get food for tonight. See you later man!" Nash said.

"Bye guys!" Shawn said. This is going to be fun!
