Do you know what is the meaning of 'El Dorado'?

El Dorado means the Mythical City of Gold. Some people tried to find this Mythical City but there are no proofs that there is a place named 'El Dorado'.

In EXO's album, the song 'El Dorado' that they need to find the place called 'El Dorado' or they need to find the 'Mythical City of Gold'. In the lyrics, they need to sail in order to find the place named "El Dorado" if it really exists.

In the lyrics, the sentence revealed: "I had the same dream again. I was at an endless desert. There is a dazzling city. But it always vanishes before I get there"

Dazzling City = 'El Dorado' or 'The Mythical City of Gold'. And dazzling means extremely bright like Gold. Gold shines extremely shines if you put in into the sunlight.

Another sentence revealed:
"Find the El Dorado. When that place calls out to me."

Means one thing, the members saw a dream and they saw a dazzling city. This place is calling all the members waiting to be discovered. That's why they need to sail to find the 'El Dorado' to prove that there is a place that 'El Dorado' and that place really exists.

Another sentence revealed:
"Those who believed in me were right"

The members believes that place exist and to prove everyone that they are right and they are not telling lies. Meaning, they need to sail in order to prove everyone that there is a place called 'El Dorado'.

'El Dorado' was a hidden place. The lyrics shown that through their dreams they can find the El Dorado. I think the place was too hard to find that's why they are having dreams to in order to find El Dorado. For me, the place was calling them and waiting to be discover.

So that's why they need to find the 'City of Gold'.
