Aurora's Point of View
I forced my eyes open. Toxic fumes flooded my senses, causing my eyes to water and my nostrils to burn.
I regained consciousness, and I wished I hadn't.
"CALL 9-1-1! SOMEONE HELP!" A nearby voice shouted in panic.
I could remember the face that distracted me right before the disaster. The sharp outline of a jaw. The long prominent nose. The long dark eyelashes that complimented his eyes so well.
The panicked expression plastered on his face as our eyes met.
Did I really see him? Or was it my brain hallucinating, giving me one last second of bliss before the disaster?
My entire body felt weighed down, tightly pressed upon the cold cement ground. I realized I was sandwiched between it and the weight of the car and I started to panic.
I can't feel my arm.
The sound of cars screeching to a halt and blasting their horns rang throughout my head. They swerved out of the way, left and right, avoiding crashing into the scene themselves. My eyelids felt heavy, threatening my body of slipping out of consciousness any second but I fought it.
Get up Aurora.
"She's alive! There's someone under there alive!"
I attempted to move by wiggling free but a sharp pain shot through my entire left arm and I screamed in agony.
There it was, I could see it now. Drenched in my own blood with a large chunk of glass protruding from the flesh.
I screamed again.
