~Aurora's Point of View~

Two pairs of piercing eyes bore into my own from across the living room. All three of us stayed silent, awaiting the incoming tornado that Hades had indifferently spun himself. Every minute or so, the man in the white shirt would open his mouth, but his words would remain solid and unspoken, and he would advert his attention to the rug on the floor. Zeus, on the other hand, was unmoving. The only time his gaze breaks is when I uncomfortably look away, and even then I'm not sure if he even stopped staring.

In a way, the situation can prove advantageous towards me. Dean definitely wouldn't let me stay any longer, even if I somehow choose that I want to. He'd throw me over his shoulder and bounce the hell out of here, and I'll never see these two strange men again.

But, for some reason, the thought of that made my stomach churn. I don't want to never see them again.

But how will Dean react? He was never fond of me sticking close to any other guy, always going on about how every single one of them had 'ill intentions' and were without a doubt, 'perverts' for trying to speak to me. Even though, it made no sense, as it was only applied to men other than himself.

Come to think of it, I never really thanked the man for re-stitching my arm. I don't have the guts to break the tense atmosphere and speak up, but I try.

"So, thank you for helping me, even though you really didn't need to." I finally spoke, purposely looking at him this time. He seemed pleased.

"Ah, don't be so foolish." He licked his lips with a quick swipe of his tongue. "Why would I walk away from the sight of blood leaking out of a helpless little girl's arm?"

Leaking out of my arm......helpless...little girl? I imagined myself punching him in the face. Hard.

"The accident happened not too long ago, I would've assumed you'd be more careful towards yourself." He continued.

"The accident?" I repeated, and Zeus flinched.

He started bouncing his leg, switching his attention between the two of us like a metal sphere in a pinball machine.

The faint curl from Hades' lips slowly melted away into a thin line.

"It was on the news."

He rose to his feet, breaking his intense focus and walked through the hall, towards the dog who had been sitting near the door since the phone call. Hades rubbed the back of his fingers on its head fondly, but its gaze remained unbroken, looking outside the large window near the front entrance.

"I thought I told him to wait for me at the entrance, that impatient bastard." I heard him sigh.

Wait at the entrance? Was Dean here?

"Auroraaaa!" A voice loudly whispered. It was Zeus, who was frantically waving his hand around to get my attention from across the room. He looked to see if his brother heard him, and when he was sure he didn't, he continued. "Heeve me ornamer!" he mouthed.

"Whaat?" I mouthed back, not really understanding why he didn't want Hades to hear us.

"Ooornaamvir!" he mouthed this time. What the hell?

"He silently groaned, slapping his hands on his face and dragging them down dramatically. I got up to walk towards him because this was ridiculous, but the second I rose, the leather couch squeaked, and the dog snapped his head towards me.

Before Hades could turn around to see, I hurried towards Zeus, who was violently gesturing the "come here" hand movement, and plopped down next to him as quickly as I could.

"What were you saying??" I whispered, and he shifted his body to face me on the couch, his knee touching the side of my thigh.

"Your fucking number, dummy! Give me your number!" His eyes were wide, looking at me incredulously.

"Why?? I don't even know you!"

"Oh for fucks sake!" He whispered a little too loudly as he began to look for something in his pockets and between the couch pillows.

Right when he was about to hand me his phone, which he found under his left leg, a sudden heavy echo of a fist pounding on the door broke our attention.

"Let me in you motherfucker!" I heard the oh so familiar voice holler.

"Aurooooraaaa!" Hades shouted in a sing-songy tune. "Your prince......" he swung open the door and took a step back, bowing like how a butler would in front of their master, gesturing his free hand outwards. ".......has arrived." He looked up at me, grinning. There were even more pieces of strand hairs dangling across his forehead now.

I'm sure I had a ridiculous look plastered on my face at Hades' actions, but so did Zeus, so I guess we were on the same page of shock.

So he can make that kind of expression, and act that kind of way, too?

If it wasn't for the incredibly awkward situation, and the wrathful Dean whose flames of anger trickled inside the doorway, I would've blushed.

Dean's face was flushed red, and it looked like he ran to get here for he was panting wildly. I think I could see a few thorns sticking out of his shirt, too.

"Aurora what........" He began, but remained still. Maybe because of the large bear who sat at the feet of the owner of this mansion, or maybe from shock in what he was seeing.

His eyes shot fiery daggers into the hyper man seated next to me, who was still seated very close to me, who was still outstretching his phone towards me.

"Who the fuck are you?" He spat with a disgusted guise, stepping forward into the house. The imaginary flames followed suit, engulfing the entirety of the entrance now.

Zeus swiftly stood up, and so did I.

"And you!" He raised his voice, looking at Hades. Did he recognize him?

"Why am I standing in a mansion with strangers loaded with money? Don't tell me....."

"Hey, watch what you're implying towards a woman." Hades spoke up in a warning tone.

Did Dean seriously just.....

"I'm leaving, lets go."

Hades looked like he wanted to interject, to stop me right there and rescue me from the fury of the demon I walked towards, but he didn't. I felt a little disappointed.

"Wait" Zeus said, grabbing a hold of my hand. I felt a small crumpled up piece of paper he squeezed in between his hand and my own, but I didn't react.

"Come see us again." He leaned down and whispered to me. His wide eyes pleaded with me even louder than his words. "Please. Come see my brother again, at least. He's hurting."

I nodded just to get him to let go of me already. When he did, I shoved my hands in my pockets, and walked towards a seething Dean.

I felt like I was walking through a hall of shame.

Dean roughly grabbed a hold of my uninjured arm, pulling my hand out of my pocket in the process and dragging me along behind him.

"You're explaining everything, and I mean everything to me in the car." He fumed through clenched teeth, walking even faster. We were almost running now.

And I did nothing but comply with my best friend.

~Hades' Point of View~

I watched the slug who reeked of jealousy drag Aurora down the steps and away from where I was standing. She stumbled on her feet to keep up with him, but he payed no attention.

What a pompous little...

I reached down to grab the crumpled piece of paper that had fallen out of her pocket on her way out, and unfolded it, gently smoothing out the creases.

I turned around slowly, holding up the paper towards the man whose number was messily scribbled on it.

"I'm gonna take a wild, wild guess," I dryly laughed, "and say that this belongs to you?"
