~Third Point of View~
Previously on Arresting the Lion
When he'd finally looked up, her face was frozen in mortification at how indiscreetly he studied her figure. He hadn't meant to do it, at least not in any inappropriate way, and she could tell by the look of mild shock on his face his cheeks that flushed a light shade of pink.
"Um-" she squeaked, and he cleared his own voice in embarrassment, jerking his head away. "We....." She began once more, not knowing exactly how to express all the emotions bundling along in her head. "We need to talk."
The words in company of the distant chatter of the rain seemed to echo throughout the small car, and as Hades and Aurora sat anxiously in each other's companies, a certain mop of blonde clad in a red spandex bodysuit took on the bet of chugging every single drink that was handed to him that night.

We need to talk.
Of course we need to talk, Aurora thought to herself, cursing at her lack of word choice. Anyone could sense the lack of communication between them by just looking at the tense pair. And here she was, sweating in her frilly-looking costume, messy hair, out of breath and profusely confused in his car.
The last time she was in his car, she was bleeding, eyes blown wide with curiosity and a hint of fear as he drove her to his damn mansion.
"We do." he affirmed, shifting in his seat to face her. His newfound serious expression was intimidating, and Aurora swallowed the bile in her throat. As she listened to the low hum of the engine, she could feel her nerves prancing around now that it was actually happening, and didn't know where to start.
"Can we maybe talk somewhere else?"
Hades nodded curtly before turning to the wheel again without another glance. He fastened his seat belt, and advised her to do the same. There was a brief pause after he pressed the breaks, and he slowly released them without shifting the car to drive. Before she could ask why, he spoke.
"You came here alone?" His voice sounded heavy with discomfort because he knew she hadn't, but he pushed to ask her anyway.
Aurora had momentarily forgotten she came with Hailey and Dean and internally groaned, knowing she would have to come up with some sort of excuse for them as to why she abruptly left the party. They had decided to stick together for the night, dancing together and goofing around before she excused herself to the bathroom.
"Of course you didn't" he grumbled, pressing the breaks and shifting to drive without a moments notice. The car lurched forward aggressively as he weighed his foot down, leaving the banquet parking lot in a hurry.
It was unnecessary for him to get upset, she thought. Why would I have come alone?
"Where..." He started to ask, squinting through the windshield as the rain relentlessly continued to pour down. She was thankful that he drove slow on the street in contrast to his hurried escape moments ago; a car accident wasn't exactly on the top of her To Do list 'anymore'.
"Wait wait-", she suddenly remembered, sitting up in the passenger seat, "-my friend's cafe is two miles from here, we can go there if that's okay?" And it was, so Aurora told him to turn down the street when necessary, praying Leo would be working and that Ob-La-Di wasn't closed for the day yet.
The glowing open sign made her breathe a sigh of relief as Hades pulled over, parking right in front of the tiny looking cafe. She was grateful, knowing that even though she had longed to speak to him in private for a while now, at least she had someone looking over them as they had a chat.
