Today Elijah comes home from wherever his job sent him. I missed him so much that I decided to make him dinner so when he gets home it'll be a nice surprise. I've been just going to school, work, and back to my apartment for different little things I might need. I slept in Elijah's bed some nights he was gone but today I was at my own place. Nobody's really here anymore. Diamond stays with Zay mainly and I mainly stay with Elijah. He had an early flight so he could be home by dinner time. I texted Diamond and asked if she wanted to have dinner with me and Elijah and that she could also bring Zay if he was up for it. I missed my little baby, which is Diamond's kid, Ivory. I haven't seen her in like a week. Diamond told me that she and Zay would be happy to come which I was happy about. I get to find out more about Zay and Diamond could finally actually talk to Elijah. I was so ready. I was cooking Alfredo with chicken. It was around 6:00 pm and Elijah was finally home. I called him and told him to dress decent and that we're having guest over. Guest sort of kind of I guess you can say. This was my apartment and I ain't really feel like dressing up like that so I just wore jeans and a black v-cut shirt. I wanted to go back to Elijah's anyway so I needed some clothes on for that as well. Elijah came over around 7:00. We spent time together in between breaks of me cooking. I got finished around 8:00. I set the table and sat with Elijah on the couch as we waited for Diamond and Zay to get here so we could eat. The food was really hot, so even if they were here right now it needed to cool off.

"Daddy ?"

"Yes baby, ?" he turned to look at me.

"When will you tell me about your job, ?" I asked rubbing his chest with my hand.

"I don't know," he said trying to dust it off but I really wanted an answer. I hate being clueless. I'm a good investigator, but there wasn't anything for me to go off of. I had a thought in my head of what he did but at the same time, I didn't want to believe it.

"You have to tell me at some point though"

"Look I already told you it'll be safer if you didn't know. If I could tell you, you know I would. I wouldn't keep nothing from you unless I had too," he told me kissing my forehead.

"But you ain't tell me you was fucking everybody," I mumbled getting up to get my phone.

"What you say ?"

"Oh nothing important," I said sitting back down.

"Nawl tell me"

I shrugged."All I said was you ain't tell me when you was fucking everybody." He looked at me sharply.

"Krystal. You know them girls didn't mean a thing to me I've already told you that multiple times"

"Okay"

"Why are you so mad for ?"

"Because my boyfriend doesn't want to tell me what he does like I'm some hoe off the streets and can't be trusted," I said raising my voice. I let out a breath, "All I'm saying is you cheated on me for no reason and now you can't even tell me what your other job is."

"It's not that I don't want you to know it's just I don't want you in my mess"

"Oh my gosh! That's bullshit. You're acting as if I can't handle shit period when you know I can. I've been alone my whole life how do you think I've made it through rough times ?" I stopped for a second. "I did it myself. I vented and talked to myself. I got myself through it. Nobody by my side so please don't ever say that dumb ass shit like that again in your life."

"Krystal I didn't mean it like that and you know that," he said coming towards me. I pushed him back.

"Okay." I put my hand up to face level. "Next your ass is going to tell me you're in a gang and that's why you don't want to tell me," I faked laughed but he didn't. He was frozen. "Oh my gosh, you are in a gang."

"What ? No, I'm not."

"Then why were you hesitant ?"

"Because I just would've never thought that you would think I'll be into that."

"I mean shit I wouldn't put it past you," I explained. We were interrupted by a knock on the door. If anything she could've used her key but I guess she didn't just want to walk in on something. I opened the door and saw Diamond and immediately jumped on her. I got down after a minute and saw Zay. I had completely forgotten about him and walked over to him and shook his hand. I told them to come in and introduced Elijah to them.

"Okay y'all. Elijah this is Diamond and this is Zay," I said pointing to them. I saw as Diamond had a slight change in her. I could tell
something was up. I would have to talk to her about it later. They all shook hands and I lead them to the dinner table with plates already laid out. I forgot to make Ivory a plate.

"My bad, I forgot to make Ivory a plate," I said getting up from the table. I brought Ivory her plate back and sat down. We all ate and talked. After I and Ivory finished, our dinner I asked her if she wanted to play She said of course which made me smile. I wasn't worried about leaving the table because everyone seemed to be getting along.

Time had passed by so fast with Ivory. It was just 8:39 now it's 9:30. I got a knock on my door.

"Come in"

"Hey um, Kris can we talk ?"

"Yeah, of course," I said telling Ivory to go play with Snowflake in the living room. She sounded like it was serious which made me a little scared, but that wasn't the only emotion she had on her face. There are two things?
