Chapter 22

Krystal

I got to my apartment to change real quick so I can meet with Diamond. Elijah's taking me so he's waiting outside because I told him I wasn't going to be long. I really needed to get my own car, I sighed in thought.

I got dressed and whatnot then left. Diamond told me to meet her at Chick-fil-A. If she was going to eat we were going to have a really good discussion. We get there and I told Elijah he can go and be with his friends for a while because I was going to take a while. But I did say be available.

I walk inside ready for whatever it is to come. I've been visiting Ivory and Snowflake when I have extra time and I really miss them. Diamond was waiting for me at the table with food already there. I smiled and ran to her. I sat on her and kissed her face all over. I haven't seen her in a looooooong time. After that little moment I had I sat across from her.

"Diamond what's wrong ? What's been happening, ?" I asked getting right to the point.

"Well.....you see......"

"What happened ? Does it involve Zay ?" She didn't say anything and just kept eating signaling that it does. Don't worry I got some for that. "Okay yes. What did he do ?"

"He kind of...."

"Continue," I said kind of getting annoyed.

*Cough* "Cheated" *Cough* "on me," She said trying to not actually tell me but I heard her. That right there was it and I lost it.

I smiled, that fake but friendly one , you know ? "Where do y'all live again, ?" I asked calmly.

"I forgot," she lied but failed.

"You know what ? I know. You texted me the address. I'll come by when I'm done. Okay ? Okay. Just text me the address you're staying at." And with that, I was out the door hoping in Elijah's car. I had my gps on telling him where to go since he lives in such a secluded area.

He asked me why I needed to go there and who I was meeting, but all I told him was they were a friend and I needed to take care of business. We arrive about 15 to 20 minutes later at his place and I gladly hopped out because I saw his car in the driveway. I knocked about 3 times and waited a minute or two and it opened revealing a not so happy Zay. His eyes got big realizing who I was.

"What are-" he tried saying before I walked through the door finding the living room. Once I found it I sat down on the couch, crossing my legs and waiting. I brought my phone out going to voice memos so I can record this session. He finally walked in sitting across from me. I hit start on my phone and asked him my first question.

"Why did you do it, ?" I asked getting straight to the point because I don't have time to play.

"Cheat ?" I nodded. "I didn't mean to."I rolled my eyes. "Okay look. I didn't know me and her was going to become this serious and I didn't know I would be this attached to her kids and her this much. If I can go back in time and do it over I would never cheat on her. She means so much to me but I think now I've lost her." His words were so sweet and it made me almost feel bad but then I thought about Diamond and everything about her. How she acted about it. It wasn't just about the cheating part because she would be mad but not this mad. Something else was up.

"When did you cheat on her ?"

"Like the first week we got to messing around. We wasn't serious then and I didn't think we were going to become this serious."

"Okay," I said nodding my head. "What else happened ?"

"Whatcha mean ?"

"Why did she get so mad ?" I laughed for quick second. "Because it obviously had to be something else involved. No one gets this mad over a little cheating done in the very beginning."

"The girl I had you know sex with is pregnant..." he said and I instantly got up to slap him.

"My bad. Reflex for some bullshit," I said sitting back down.

"Are you going to try and get her back or.. ?"

"I want to but I don't know where she is," he explained to me.

I nodded, "mmmhh okay," I said getting up.

"What ? where are you going ?" he asked worried sounding.

"Back to Diamond," I did a little giggle. "I'm done here so there's not point of me being here," I explained.

"So you're not going to help me ?"

"Look Zay you seem like a really great guy okay ? And I would love for you and my sister to be happy together but I can't really do anything. I can put a good word in for you and maybe pled for you, like me and her in court but that's about it," I explained making it to the door.

He smiled a bit and I'm glad I'm the reason he actually smiled. I know he hasn't been smiling lately by his demeanor. I stopped my voice recording and looked at him.

"Thank you. Whatever you can do will be thankful," he said opening the door for me as I walked out. "Bye"

"Bye," I said walking to the car, getting inside.

"So how did it go, ?" Elijah asked.

"Good, I guess you can say. I just need to talk to Diamond again," I sighed.

"Okay y'all meeting today ? "

"I hope so because I'm going to be with Nick for a while tomorrow and I'm the one who invited him to hang out with me so we can discuss what happened today," I stressed.

"Nick ?"

"The guy I was with when you came over uninvited.. ?"

"Oh y'all still fucking even though.. ?"

"Look Elijah listen. If I actually wanted to be with him I would be with him because he actually wants to be with me, but I can't be with him why don't you get that ? He's just my Nickyboo. My bestfriend. He's the one that told me Sierra was lying about her pregnancy. If it wasn't for him I don't think we could ever repair what we had again," I explained really getting tired of just holding everything back and him not understanding from the little parts I put together to form the picture.

"Krystal I'm really really sorry about everything I've done with you and I promise and swear that I won't hurt you again. I meant that the last time like I mean it now. I didn't cheat on you with sierra. I did but I didn't because I didn't want to kiss her," he said turning my direction giving me his full on attention.

"You still kept in contact with the bitch though. Don't act like I ain't got sum for that ass later."

"Krystal, baby-"

"Nope go ahead and call her that because I really don't want to hear that shit right now. The only person that can call me that is Diamond and Nick because I know they actually mean it. Let's just go see Diamond, let her listen to this recording and go to our places. Deal ?"

"Krystal I do mean it. You're my only baby. I haven't had feelings for anyone like I have feelings for you. Please Krystal can we at least go through this process so you can officially be mine again ?"

"Yeah, yeah sure. Just listen to the gps so I can end this night with something good for someone else." After that we left Zay's driveway and was on our way to, whoever Diamond is staying with, house. They lived a good 20 minutes from Zay's house. Good distance.

We get to who's ever house it is and I knocked. I had Elijah come with me this time because he's been in the car the whole time and he's been my ride. The door opened which quickly cut off my thinking. I smiled warmly walking inside letting Elijah and Diamond say hello to each other.

I find the living room and take a seat. They were right behind me so I didn't have to wait any time. I was really sleepy at this point. Ripping and running all damn day over bs. This light man came into the room but his eyes widen quickly as he saw me.

"Oh Krystal this is Alex. Alex this is my sis Krystal," Diamond gestured to us both.

"Well hello there then," I said looking at Diamond as she turned red a little.

"Hello," Alex replied blushing as well. Aww they're so cute but I'm about to pled about her getting back with Zay. This isn't going to be it.
