I woke up with a jerk and I was sweating profusely. I had a bad dream about my dad's accident. My dad died in front of my eyes. Its all my fault. He died while saving me. I miss him so much.
I was breathing heavily. I was also feeling very cold. My eyes then fell on the alarm clock which was standing on the night stand beside my bed. 10:25 am. Oh my god! Shit!!! I am so late. Mr. Arrogant is gonna kill me. I threw my warm blanket aside and got up from the bed. I had no strength in my legs. I then checked my phone because I am damn sure that he must have fired me by now.

Shit! I think he has fired me. I don't have the courage to open it and read the horrible truth of my life. Oh god kill me. What will I do now? Okay calm down Vi let's do this.
I clicked on the notification and the message opened. I summoned the god before reading it. It read:
Take leave and don't come to the office until you get well. I don't want other people catching cold from you so stay at home and take rest. Take medicines properly because I want you back here on Monday.
Thank god I am not fired! But it's unbelievable. The great Ethan Martinez just told me, his personal assistant to take a leave until I get well. Wow! Is he guilty about yesterday? Does he care? NO! What am I thinking. He is so egoistic. He told me to take a leave because he was scared that the others will catch cold from me and won't be able to work as well. Care and Ethan sounds so weird. He only cares about his company and himself. Jerk.
I sighed in relief and I went to my washroom. I did my morning budiness and took a hot shower to get rid of the cold. I then got dressed into a green sweatshirt and a pair of black leggings. I combed my hair but I didn't tie them because I wanted to feel comfortable.

I then took a paracetamol and I ate an apple. But I was feeling too cold and I have high fever. I began to cough continuously and my body felt so weak. Even though the AC and ceiling fan was off and the heater was on, then too I was shivering hysterically. I slept on my bed and covered myself with the warm blanket but then too I was shivering. I decided to take a nap but I was coughing badly. I need to go to a doctor. But, I barely have any strength. I will have to go to the hospital alone since Nelsa, David, Kevin, Jessica and Chloe are all busy working. I can't disturb them. It is 1pm now.
I was about to get up from the bed, when I heard my door bell ring. Who is it? I think it must be my neighbor probably to ask if her 6 year old son, Sam had come here.
I sighed and I got up from my bed still shivering. I am looking horrible. The weakness due to fever consumed my body so much that I opened the door directly without checking who it was.
