Chapter 22

Vianca's POV

Today I woke up, did my routine and reached office sharp at 9 am. I then went to the private pantry and made Ethan Sir's black coffee. I then reached his cabin and knocked on it once but I got no answer from the other side. I knocked it once again and waited for him to tell me to come in but still no reply. I then knocked twice but still no reply. I then tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open because it was locked which means Ethan Sir has not arrived yet. It is almost 9:15 and he is not here. It means he is late.

Oh god I have been working here for more than 3 months now and never in these months has Ethan Sir came late. But then he looked exhausted yesterday and also he reached home late because of me. It's my fault that he is late. But it doesn't matters because he has nothing important scheduled for today. Let him take rest.

I then went to my cabin and started preparing the reports of a few meetings. I also organised some of Ethan Sir's files.

It's 11 am now and Ethan Sir has still not arrived. I think he has taken the day off. But why am I so curious about his whereabouts? I sighed and continued with my work. Even though my boss is at leave but I have plenty of work to do. After all being a personal secretary ain't that easy bro.

I was engrossed in my work when I heard a knock on my cabin. It must be
Daniel, he must have come here to give me this month's general data reports I had asked him for.

"Come in." I said without looking up and typing on my laptop.

The door opened and he came in. I then heard the door closing.

"Thank you for preparing them in such a short notice. Please keep them on my desk." I said still typing on my laptop.

I then heard him clear his throat.

"What happened Daniel is there a problem?" I asked him as I was typing.

"It's not who you are expecting here. Its me." Said a very familiar voice.

I immediately recognised whom it belonged to and I looked up from my laptop. I was absolutely shocked to see him, I mean he is the last person I am expecting to come in my cabin.

"St-Stephen what are you doing here?" I asked as I immediately stood up from my chair.

He smiled at me and asked, "Hey Vianca how are you doing?"

"I-I am good. But you came here just to ask me this?" I replied. I was still shocked because it was still giving me goosebumps how my favourite celebrity is here in my cabin and is asking me how am I doing. OMG this is the biggest fangirl moment. I am freaking out on the inside but I have to act normal since he is my boss' brother.

"No." He laughed. "I am here to meet my brother but he was no where to be found so I came here to ask you."
What it means Ethan is not at home. Then where is he?

"Ohh okay.... But Ethan Sir has not came to the office yet."

"What? He has not come to the office. Then where the hell is he because he left the house around 9 and he was in his office attire."

"That's strange. I think he must have went somewhere for some work. Why don't you call him and ask?"

"Oh yes wait I'll call him." Stephen then called Ethan but he was not answering.

"He is not answering. I guess I'll wait here until he comes."

"Um do you want me to get you something like coffee or-"

He cut me off, "No it's fine just sit here and talk to me."

I just smiled awkwardly at him.

"Actually Sir's cabin will not open without his thumb impression and Jake Sir is also in a meeting so I guess you will have to wait in the deluxe lounge."
